Little quieter than like a 40 series, less drone inside the cab but sounds about the same at Idle.. Revs are raspier than a traditional flowmaster. Overall I’m happy, wish it was slightly quieter maybe the bigger square one is quieter? I tried to see if there’s a difference in sound between the two but couldn’t find anything, but it’s an upgrade from my straight pipe old exhaust..

Was looking for a glasspack muffler. This Flowmaster was the same price and in some cases cheaper than so no name brand. Easy install, sounds awesome at idle and sounds great going through the RPM range, once you get to redline, it doesn't sound as good, but it's livable. There is some drone at highway speeds, but not annoying, it's better to hear the exhaust than not. We'll see how long it lasts and I had read other reviews that say MagnaFlow or Dynomax were better, but cost a lot more. This is my "go to the junkyard" truck, so it doesn't get driven as much as my other vehicles, so I believe this should last the life of the truck or even longer. Oh and it looks good.

Sounds great, nice deep tone but not super loud, don’t hesitate, it’s worth it!

Top Verarbeitung und toller sound

I have it on my 5.3 and it has the perfect sound 110 db on RPM 3 and it increased the MPG when on cruise control

Put on my 07 ram (has cats, no resonators) and it sounds very very good . Minimal drone at cruise or at highway speeds but just a touch loud for my liking . I have used many different brands of mufflers, but this one put on a Hemi almost gives it a slight lope/chop at idle or cold start that is pretty impressive . Would recommend if you don't mind it being on the louder side, but what do you expect for a straight through muffler. definitely not as loud as a glass pack.

This muffler was a little louder than expected but sounds fantastic...... think old muscle car. Super deep throaty sound but loud. Only issue is resonance. This bad boy resonates like crazy..... so I put a MBRP 3” rolled tip on it and played with the length. Think trombone.... the more I slid the tip out the quieter it got inside the cab. It really focused the sound outside of the vehicle.... like amazingly ! Love the sound ..... just buy a tip to help perfect the sound. Built quality is excellent and stainless to boot.
