Easy assembly
went together easily. Base a little small, but will enlarge the area easily. Camera installed easily, but depending on location on the shaft, sometimes the view is difficult to see on the camera back. Mostly works well, and quite pleased with the overall construction and operational abilities.

promaster copy stand
This product was not as I expected. The plastic gear on the post has already broke. The system is still operable, but it will not be long before the plastic gear breaks altogether. The system needs a metal gear on the post and not plstic. One screw has already broken off and will have to be drilled out and then retapped for another screw.

Okay copy stand--with minor flaws.
The media could not be loaded. The copy stand is satisfactory. The lights are adjustable in various directions/lengths, and are easy to adjust. I like the easy access on/off switch on each light's cable. Setup was easy.Cons: the rubber pads smell like tires, even after a week. They smelled up the room and I decided not to use them. I will try to find replacements or use the copy stand without them. The two light extensions do not tighten into their grooves symetrically. The angles are never the same. Perhaps this isn't important. This is my first experience with a copy stand, but was expecting better quality for $219.

Good copy stand and a great price point
I don’t use a copy stand very often so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This little copy stand can handle my large prints and the lighting is uniform. And the price was right. I would recommend it.

Exactly what I need and more.
It is too bad that these items are scarce because of lack of demand and cost so much. I had to bite the proverbial bullet and go for it. Thankfully it is just what I needed.

Little design errors
It's such a simple idea, but little design errors, trivial stuff, make it aggrevating. The light holding vertical bars are square, so to change that angle, you need to move the clamps on the base. The only spot to do that is the corners. But the corners of the base of little feet so that the clamps cannot really go there. As a result, you have to clamp them half-hanging-off the base, and they're fragile, knock over easily. The main camera mount is nice enough, glides up and down all right. So close! Simple simple concept. But poor design, no testing maybe.
