Burns up plywood- just get a trim bit
For the same price you can get a bit with a bearing on the end and it would be smoother cutting

Excellent Bit for Cutting Door and Window Openings
This is a terrific router bit for making door and window openings in wood siding. I have used it to cut the door out of a dog house, as well as to cut three windows and a door in my shed. Because it doesn't have a ball bearing to ride on, it will leave a burn line on your framing lumber, but that really is not a problem for most applications because your door, window, or trim is going to cover that burn line. It's a great time saver and produces great results, highly recommended!A couple of tips:1) Always cut in a clockwise direction, otherwise the bit may chatter, skip, and wander.2) When you are cutting your openings, it's hard to tell from the outside where the window or door is actually supposed to be because you're just looking at a wall of siding. Go inside, and take a 1/4" drill bit and drill a hole through the siding at the corners of your door or window rough opening. That will give you a visual reference when you go back outside to cut the opening with your router.3) You don't have to push hard against the rough opening! Pushing just enough to keep in contact will reduce burning and cause less wear and tear on your router and the bit.4) It is best used with a plunge router base, but it is not necessary. I have used it in a fixed base as well. Just set your bit depth, start your router, rest the edge of the base plate against the surface, and slowly rock the bit into the wood.

Trimming OSB is effortless!!
The media could not be loaded. This bit requires a router with a 1/2” collet. I used this on my house project to trim 7/16” osb on my gables ends and all window and door openings. This makes it so easy! No measuring, no jagged rough openings of windows and doors. Very smooth and looks great! I also used this to trim 3/4” OSB for my loft floor, takes a little longer but again worked amazing!

Excellent router bit
This bit made cutting door and window openings on a garage which I am building extremely easy and quick. The double flute allows for smoother and cleaner cuts. One thing to note is that the pilot is solid and will generally make a small burn line along it's path. As with any router bit it makes quite a bit of noise and throws debris when cutting through material so make sure to wear appropriate PPE!

A great tool to have on hand
Bit cuts well and is a really useful tool to have on hand for all sorts of random uses. The end of the bit does burn the wood that you are trimming flush against... but in the situations I have used it for, that hasn't been a problem.
