If i were to plant three to a pot how big of a pot should I get?

My plants have more then doubled in size.. I would use a pot at least 12 inches wide. My plants are outside in individual pots. I will bring them in on the fall. They do grow in the house, but much slower!

I ordered 5 herbs, 3 died in days, 1 died in weeks, last one dying back. Followed intruction. Any recourse.
