Lifesaver
I love this timer. This is the second one that I have purchased. I now have one at home and one at my office. It helps with my time blindness and productivity so much. Has been a lifesaver for guiding my focus and meeting deadlines. Works well for kids who have issues with focus as well. I don't use the alarm function, only the timers. Great purchase.

Perfect Time Management Tool
I got this as an easy way to monitor work flow as I work from home! Helps me to concentrate for XYZ minutes on certain tasks without disruption! I was using one I had to manually set constantly and this is 10x better! Bonus - I lost the instructions and needed to adjust the time and couldn't figure out - they can easily be found by a quick google search! LOL! If you need 'focus time' for work or anything, don't wait on this one!

Absolutely perfect!
It is always a pleasure to write positive reviews. This clock/alarm/timer deserves one. It is just perfect for me. I use Cube timer at home and it is good for pomodoro technique and my kitchen, but this hexagon timer turned out to be a way above my expectations. What especially I love:1. Digits on the clock are large and easy to see.2. You have pause buttons for timers! Two of them!3. It is also a clock - that is so nice!.. Well, and an alarm, if you need it.4. Perfect intervals for my pomodoros (30 minutes in my case with 5 and 15 minutes breaks).5. Wow design. Just love it! Large numbers, large digits, black color with an orange Zero.6. 2 Levels of alarm/timer sound. Ohh! Finally, it does not scare me when I am concentrated and then suddenly BEEP. Not with this one.The only couple of things I wish it would have (but don't) are (1) a choice for a melody for the alarm/timer that starts quetly and increases in volume gradually. (2) I also found that digital digits on the clock are less sharp when it is in a timer mode. But regardless of that, I have no words! People who designed it and created it made it with passion. Thank you so much!It came in a very nice box you expect for $100+ gadgets, on time, and well packed. Ahh. No batteries in the box. You need 2 AAA on your own.PS. They remind don't rush if you cannot figure out immediately how to set up something. It is sometimes requires you to read their manual. I could not figure out how to reduce the sound just by pushing buttons here and there. Well, it is well described in the manual. So no complains, really.PPS. Perfect gadget!!!!Correction: I purchased 2 more clocks for different locations I work at. New clock doesn't have the problem I indicated in my review. Now, all numbers are bright and nice even in timer mode. I guess they are improving each next version of the timer. Great job!!!

Great idea. A few details could be improved.
Most importantly, it works - does what it advertises. It is as simple as turning it onto a side to activate the timer and turning it back to shut it off. Simple enough for a young child to operate, which makes it a great tool. The alarm also works as you would expect. However, it is less than a perfect design. The location of the buttons on the back is the biggest annoyance I've experienced. It's very easy to accidentally push them when picking up the device, which you have to do to use the timer functions. This can result in inadvertently resetting or deactivating the alarm or having to reset the clock if you're not careful. The controls are not as self-explanatory as you would expect for a modern electronic device, although the instructions are adequate. Also, the display is small and very low contrast, making it difficult to see if the lighting isn't good. The back-light does help this, but it is only on momentarily so it is only a partial fix.

Setting the clock is surprisingly unintuitive.
I got this little timer to help me keep track of time and focus at work, and it's been fantastic at that. My only gripe is how unintuitive setting the clock on it is. I'd set it fine the first time but had forgotten how by daylight savings time.HERE'S HOW TO SET THE CLOCK:1. Press MODE2. Use UP and DOWN to choose between a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.3. Press SET4. Use UP and DOWN to select the hour.5. Press SET6. Use UP and DOWN to select the minutes.7. Press MODE twice to save.

Multiple Design and Usability problems
The product’s glowing reviews DO NOT do justice and do not convey pros and cons clearly. It’s really a mixed bad of goods and bads. Here is my honest take:GOOD: preset timer functions are VERY easy to useGOOD: Shape is nice, stable, and the process of flipping it to desired timer setting is a fun thing to do and works well.GOOD: the unit is a good size; can be used a paper weight too: screen is not bright but I see that as a positive to avoid battery drainBAD: The minimum pre set timer is 5mins and that isn’t enough For example, if you want to set a timer for cooking, the preset values just do not work. an option to set a customized timer (like 3,7 minutes) should be there for such a large unit.BAD: the beeps go off like crazy! It starts 60 seconds before timer expires which is a bad design. Often times we need to know after time has expired. When I set timer for 5 minutes, what is the point of beeping at 4 minutes itself???? And to make matters worse, the thing goes into a panic mode of beeping fast in last 30 seconds. Every time it goes off, I feel like a 911 event is in progress. Good lord! I got this timer so my life can be better organized. What’s the purpose of the beeper going off in a way to make my heart skip every time I use it?BAD: it is very difficult to remember how to use the setting buttons on the back. While trying to set the time, I set the alarm. I bet you $10 you cannot figure out how to erase the alarm without looking at the manual. It is so non-intuitive that the manual needs to be kept handy.BAD: the clock drifts as others have noted. I cannot figure out what makes it drift. It looses a lot of time. But, I got this as a timer and not as a clock …even so, it’s a really stupid design flaw that should be fixed for a product that seems to sell like hot cakes. It is unpardonable to have such a fundamental design flaw not fixed.
