The bar material seems made well, and lightweight, which is important as to not put excess stress on the hotshoe mount. I do have a little difficulty each time I slide something on or off, as it seems to kind of hang up near the ends of the groove, and it's not due to the little ball bearing on the bottom of most accessories. Slot just seems a tiny bit narrower or pinched at the ends. My biggest concern over time, or if I used this more heavily than I do, is the threaded screw/rod that extends up from the hotshoe to enable you to lock it on. I've already slightly bent it once (I gently straightened it back). It's a standard 1/4-20 thread but not the best quality metal and given the length of the bar above can act as a lever, you could bend it bad or perhaps snap it with careless handling, pushing too hard to slide on an accsy, or resting the camera on it sideways once too many times. I'll admit I'm more disappointed with the 1-star accessories than the rack itself... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2018* I used this to build a holder for 3 Nikon SB-700's. I use the unit to take photos of birds at night. You must use a wrench to tighten all nuts, and I put lock washers under all nuts to insure nothing would move around.The flashes mounted on my D850 gives me a weight in excess of 10 pounds.
