I paid right away, and the seller took considerable time after I paid to ship it, and it was 2 weeks before I received the book. 2 weeks of class without my book, when others who ordered theirs the same day, from other places had theirs a week earlier. Yes it was used, didn't have any marks, but it was heavily creased. The CD tracks are educational but the numbers don't line up with the lesson tracks in the book, and the book is very hard to follow. It is good for vocabulary and illustrating grammar points. It should have more content like that and fewer frilly articles about random topics.

The book is good, I use it with an instructor led class sooo. Learning on my own from the book I suspect would be hard. The condition of the book was describes an near new, not what i got. This book was totally written on, almost every page, and no CD. Hope that helps. Be cautionse of the senders of the book and their reputation.

The book came quickly but, there were NO cd's!!!! I expected some writing, which there was, but to have to title tell me there will be cd's in this purchase and then to NOT HAVE THEM is unacceptable!

When I ordered this book I neglected to read that shipments from this vendor were sent USPO book rate. As this book was for a class which had already started I had to order another book from a different supplier which shipped it Priority Mail. However, upon notifying this vendor of my situation they advised they would stand behind their refund policy.....send the book back unopened. I sent the book back and promptly received a full refund credited to the account charged for the book. If you can wait for the USPO to deliver items book rate this is a very good vendor to deal with.

I bought this because my private German teacher uses the books. But not great if you use it your self to learn as it is all written in German.

This book was used in a German class. It is an excellent, interactive series that makes learning the language easier and fun. There are stories, diagrams and lots of examples of possible real-life situations.

Esta muy bien extructurado los capitulos y viene con un cd para escuchar . Altamente recomendado para los que quieren aprender Aleman
