I had the same coaching staff as Dan wrestled some of the same folks that are in the book Dan was a freshman when I was a sr at west waterloo. book has some great tips for any coach just be leave you are where your at in life because that is were you what to be be a winner

Dan gable is so inspiring. Loved this book! Loaded with information that will help any team. I wish I could of been physically there to see Dan coach Iowa. Great book definitely recommend

This was a wonderful book and is being used to teach up and coming wrestler's the fundamentals of the sport and what to expect. Used to pass on to newly assitant coaches and how to teach moves to new wrestler's.

I got this book to help me coach my son during his current wrestling season. It has helped him tremindously, and me also in understanding the princles of coaching wrestling successfully.

How can any wrestler not benefit from insight from one of if not the best wrestler & coach in the sports history . Excellent book , highly recommend .

Fascinating insight into probably the greatest wrestling coach of al time and his methodology. I think any sports coach could get a lot out of this.

Clear, easy to understand lessons about Physical and Mental training for athletes and coaches. GET IT!

Purchased this book because I've seen it cited in so many other sport coaching text. Given its age, the contents still hold up today. A must read for any coach, regardless of level.
