Miter Saw, Single Bevel, Compound, 10-Inch, 15-Amp (DWS713)

this is one of the best shop purchases that I've ever made. I kept looking at it, and looking at it before I bought it, wondering if it would be worth the money. But once I got it and actually used it, I have never been happier. DeWalt is usually a good choice for power tools, although they are on the higher side of mid-range, cost-wise. But this was really worth it, smooth as silk to use, solid construction, good controls and stops, heavy. You will not be unhappy with this. One tip: The dust collection is poor, but of course that is the case with all miter saws so it doesn't say anything worse about DeWalt, but plan on hooking it up to a shopvac at the very least, otherwise, you'll have sawdust over everything.

Very nice unit. Came perfectly adjusted for squareness. Looks to be very durable for everyday use. You get what you pay for with tools like these.

Quality saw at reasonable price

The DEWALT DWS713 Miter Saw has been a fantastic addition to my workshop. It works flawlessly, with a powerful 15-amp motor that cuts smoothly through everything I've thrown at it. The bevel and compound features make angled cuts easy and precise, and the 10-inch blade size is perfect for most of my DIY needs. Great saw for being used. Look like it was never used just the box had some damage. Definitely work buying used and to save a few bucks.

Great saw, that takes up much less space than my former saw. I found that for the bulk of what i was doing i did not need the big slider, this compact saw does everything i need it to do. Sliding fence is a definite upgrade from my previous saw, and the accuracy out of the box is everything i would expect. Very smooth operation, but the only drawback i find is it is a little more noisy than my previous saws.

Got this for a great price and like almost all Dewalt tools, this performs excellently. Comes assembled and is built solid. The blade preattached is a high quality finishing blade, complete overkill for wood and goes for almost $60 on its own.. its a nice touch by Dewalt. Detentes are solid, easy to adjust into miters, easy operation. Would maybe like it to have a laser, but if you are good enough at DIY to invest in a saw of this caliber, it shouldn't be a deal breaker.
