What is the difference between the Boston and the Gavin style

Boston Barstool more square shaped seat, with a slightly sleeker overall depth to the base of the seat (1.5" - 2"). The Gavin has a rounded shaped seat with a chunkier overall depth to the seat (2"-3").

What are the dimensions at the base? I see the seat is 12 inches deep, but how deep are the legs? I am hoping for the stool to tuck under a counter.

The footprint of the stool is 18.5 inches wide, and 15 inches deep. The height of the stool from floor to top of seat us 30 inches.
