Comfortable, simple, and clean wrist rest
This has got be one of the most comfortable and good priced wrist rest that I've ever used. Even though the design might be simple but its just ingenious. The top of the wrist rest material is like neoprene and it feels more breathable than the one's made out of those gel fillings. But if you do keep your wrist on it for extended amount of time, than it starts to feel kind of warm, so I suggest users to take a little break from putting your wrist on it straight throughout. I've been the Grifiti wrist rest for a month now and still looks like new and feels great. The foam padding seems to have gotten a bit cushier now with time and it actually feels better than when I had it brand new. I've been using this on my Rosewill RK-9000I, Cooler Master Quickfire TK, and Logitech G710+ which are all mechanical keyboards and the height, length, and width fits perfectly with the keyboards. I actually bought two of these, one for my keyboard and another for my mouse. This might sound unconventional but I got a very big mousepad for gaming, around 17" and I use it to support my wrist when I'm using my MMO mouse and its perfect for that also. Extended gaming on these actually helps a lot on my wrist feeling cramped and its very comfortable.Pros:-Good price and very nicely made-Comfortable for extended typing or gaming-Feels more breathable and cooler than gel filled type wrist rest-The size is perfect fit for full size 104 key layout mechanical keyboards (Grifiti also makes the same wrist rest for tenkeyless keyboard)-Bottom is very durable and will not move or slide around while usingCons:-Can get a bit warm if your typing or gaming on it for an extended period without any breaks (just move your wrist a little upwards real quick if it gets warm)

Great wrist rest!
I'm very happy with this purchase. I would not have thought the 4 inch width would be that much better than the narrower width version, but it is! It's so comfortable and so much easier to type with. I highly recommend!

Here's the deal with "smooth skin" vs. regular (regular skin?)
I tend to move my hands around a little bit as I type so I prefer a keyboard wrist rest that allows the palms of my hands to slide a bit on the surface as needed. Just a little. I also like a flat wrest, no arc. I have this paired with a Logitech mechanical gaming keyboard. The extra width is great! The "smooth skin" is smooth relative to the regular but it is not slick in any way. It kind of feels like wetsuit material (neoprene) and it definitely has more of a sticky surface. Your wrists will not slide in any direction. It's somewhat counterintuitive because you think "smooth" means more slippery. I thought so. Wrong. The "regular" version has an ever so slightly rough texture to it because it doesn't have that "smooth coating." You can slide your palms on it MUCH more easily than the smooth version. I wouldn't want to constantly be sliding back and forth on this because it would start to bother my skin but for the little bit I do, it turns out the regular was the right choice. Both have the right amount of cushion. I do agree with others that you will probably get a little more longevity out of the smooth version. I anticipate getting about a year out of this regular one.

Just right for me
I am very picky about my wrist pads. I don't want them to go under the keyboard, as I'm fussy about my keyboard elevation. I don't want them to extend out too far, because my keyboard shelf is a little narrow. I want them to cushion my wrists/palms and stay in place, but without goo or fastening onto the keyboard. This one hits all the marks, and I was glad to find it. Also, I spend most of my day at the keyboard, which means I eat and drink there, too. This wrist pad resists staining and cleans up very nicely. Cat hair brushes off easily, as well. It's pretty thick and sturdy, so I don't know if I'll ever have to replace it, but if I do I'll be looking for another one just like it.

It also doesn't look great with a gap between the keyboard and the pad
It's not wide enough. If you have this pressed up against a Logitech 810, your hands are going to be curled over the keyboard or your wrists will slide off. In order to use this pad with my keyboard, it has to be 1 1/4" away from the keyboard. I have to keep readjusting this pad so it is the proper distance, since I can't just make it flush with the keyboard as shown in the marketing photo. It also doesn't look great with a gap between the keyboard and the pad.I have no problem with the material used. It was stinky when I pulled it out of the package, but the smell dissipated. It's the size that they got wrong.
