The fiberglass shell is noticeably lighter than plastic. Good air flow, nice features, well constructed. The sizing seems about right on. Mine fits tight because my head size is on the upper end of the size, but I didn't want a hemet that wobbled on my head.. Probably best to go a size up if you're at the upper end of the the recommended size (for the price, I'm going to buy an XL, as well, so I can wear a skull cap or balaclava in the winter since I ride all year round). Great helmet, just wish more dealers carried them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ LS2 HH568; Nice helmet, Awsome Price *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2018* This is my second LS2 helmet purchase. I have a Strobe modular and I love it. I ordered this helmet because I was looking for a half helmet for summer riding and the price caught my eye. This helmet has a removable lining that makes it super easy to maintain, a 3 snap removable visor/peak and a zip off ear/neck warmer that has velcro pockets, where you can install speakers, for your bluetooth or MP3 player. I like the racheting quick release closure for the chinstrap that makes getting the helmet on and off a breeze. Everyone no longer has to wait around, while you thread your strap through antiquated "D"rings. The vents on the front of the helmet are screened as well, to prevent insects and other debris from entering. I ordered the pearl white and found the finish to be really smooth with no overspray or "orange peel." There are a few down sides to this helmet but they are minimal. The quick release ratchet does have a tendency to pinch if it is adjusted too tightly and the helmet can be a little tight around the ears when glasses are worn. I'm sure over time this will subside as the helmet breaks in. Check LS2's website for sizing info before ordering. I purchased the medium and found it to be a little more snug than my other helmet, but that's probably because it is new. All things considered, this is a great helmet for the price point. I am definitely going to order another one before they are all gone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm happy with it. *by V***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2016* This is a well built helmet and fits my large dome well. I've had a ton of problems finding helmets to fit my head. My head measures 7.75" which for most helmets is a 2xl. The HH568 in 2xl fits my head well. Several other brands like skid lid aren't even close in 2xl. All these helmet manufacturers fit differently so buyer beware. As for the features, I like the quick latch/release feature. It works well.
