As far as function, it's great - does what it's supposed to do. I bought it in December, it is now April and there are a couple of minor issues I'm having. The rubber pieces on the side 'grippers' is coming off. This caused the phone to fall onto the floorboard of the car at one point. I think some support for the bottom of the phone is needed. A little glue fixed this, I would also like to have a little more 'swivel-type' maneuverability. All in all, not the best quality, but gets the job done.

The suction cup is strong and the flexible arm is sufficiently stiff to eliminate any vibration when mounted to the windshield. However, for me, my vision was blocked too much as I am tall and sit high. I then chose to mount my unit onto my center dashboard using the air vent feature. The two stability arms are in the vertical plane and due to the weight of the unit along with my iPhone 6 Plus mounted horizontally cause the upper stability to rise up in the air off the dashboard and only the lower arm provides stability. I could also choose to use the 3rd method by attaching the adhesive disc on my dashboard and use the suction cup to mount it. Overall a very well constructed unti with plenty of adjustment features to secure mobile phone for visual and handsfree operation!

Got what I paid for, so 3 stars. Many mounting options which is good design feature.I would not purchase again as it's design is bulky & clunky. The side jaws which hold device are at least 4X as deep as needed. I'm sure it was designed to accommodate many different devices, but c'mon side jaws are an inch deep; really? When device is mounted all my eye is drawn to is the hulking jaws. Anyway, it works, but I'll move it from car to a truck where it will suit the rough and tumble image ... looks like it was designed for a Hummer.

I was trying to find something to work for my 2011 Subaru Outback. I had a cd slot holder but it kept falling out so trying this.The placement of the vents makes that kind of use not doable - so it was on to the suction cup. I wanted it on the dash, not the window but it would not stick to the textured surface. I was able to get it to stick using three large water resistant command strips. I could have used strong double backed tape but wanted to be able to remove it without damaging the car. It worked fine on a 200 mile trip back and forth, didn't loosen up in the heat.

After using this product for about 6 months I threw it in the trash. It seemed OK at the beginning but degraded over time. From the start it was never really sturdy enough (I mounted on windshield) to remain stationary during a tight turn or over some bumps but I have a large phone (LG V10) so I looked past this. What I couldn't deal with was the adhesive failing on the side padding that squeezes the phone. After inserting/removing enough times the adhesive would start to deform and stick to the phone causing the sides to loosen. It was only a matter of time before the gears and inner workings of the gripping functionality failed completely. I would not recommend this unit as it doesn't stand the test of time.

It's a solid phone holder but it did not last as long as expected. The attachment from the suction cup to its holder recently broke. It only lasted me 6 months which is less than expected. Other than that I enjoyed having! It provided lots of ease with navigation and its universal placement is great, wish the plastic material lasted longer.

Got about 3 months out of this product before it broke on me at the joint between the swing arm and the actual cell phone holder. I did use the product daily as I'm in sales and in my car all week long. Purchased this to hold my phone for mapping purposes. Will try another brand next time around and hope for a bit more durability.

I have used this product for about a year now, but not very often. It's not as bad as some other products I have seen, but no near the top quality that it proclaims to be. The major let downs are that after a while the unit starts swinging from side to side (regardless of how tight you strengthen the connecting parts) and the squeeze function stops...squeezing. So all of a sudden, your device will simply fall out because the squeeze lets go. There is no apparent way to fix this. I would love to find a similar product with similar design but better quality as I wasted hours online to even select this one which turned to be a disappointment.
