Cute Shrimp
Updating my review to reflect the fact that I just ordered more of these shrimp and received a package with everything EXCEPT the shrimp in it. They want me to return the package, but by then I had already thrown everything away--I mean, why keep an empty box, and a bag with water and gel stuff in it? Coupled with the fact that I also ordered a different type of shrimp from them at the same time and received nothing at all, no package, nothing, and they sent me a copy/paste of the "your package was left on the front porch." Maybe it was left on someone's front porch but it wasn't left on mine. Apparently the only way to get a refund is to send the package back.... but I didn't RECEIVE the package, so how am I to send it back? So yeah based on these two experiences this past week I think I'll be ordering from someone else in the future. How incredibly annoying, and the whole copy/paste thing just made me angry; I'm not an idiot, I looked on both my porches, just like I always do. Why can't they just take my word for it that I didn't receive it, when I've been a good customer in the past? Grrr! These shrimp are cute as can be. Arrived all alive, apparently healthy, and lively, as well. I ordered them because we tend to get overgrowths of thread algae (I know, too much light,)inour two tanks, but the shrimp are so cute and such a pretty color that I'd adore them even if they weren't interested in the algae, but they are pigging out on it even as I type this.

Great shrimps
Arrived quickly. Alive. Beautiful red color! 2nd order came and it did have one that didnt make it through shipping but It was loaded with a few extras so I still got more than 10. These are very red, almost as if they are coated with bright red nail polish. I definitely recommend!

Arrived alive and seems to be healthy!
I got all 10 cherry shrimp, and they are all alert and well. I barely placed them in their tanks, and they seem to be exploring and taking it well. 3 of them seem to be discolored with a bit of blue on their heads, but other than that, they’re great! I will be keeping a keen eye on them for the next few days to see how they acclimate to their new homes!

Happy shrimp
All 12 arrived alive despite the Florida summer heat. They are a very nice deep red color, healthy and active. It looks like 2 males and the rest females. All the females look berried and there are bonus 1 cm long babies in the bag (likely born in transit). No parasites on visual inspection. Five of the babies made great snacks for my ember Tetras. The rest made it to cover though. I will edit my review if any problems arise. Edit: 3 days later one of them has died. Edit: 7 days after the first death 3 more have died. 10 days after first death 1 more has died. These guys are much darker and look harder than my old stock of shrimp in the tank. My water might not have enough calcium in it for these guys. The babies are growing up well though. They are big enough to emerge without being eaten. Another two of the females are no longer berried, so I expect to see more babies soon.

Questionable Breeder See details
I wanted to wait two months to post my review. I have owned shrimp for over 5 years now and never had an issue until recently. To begin with the shrimp arrived fast however one arrived dead on arrival 9/10. It was escaping from the inner bag. I acclimated the shrimp for about 7 hours due to the extreme difference in water temperature and water paremeters. I used a direct drip method from my tank to the smaller holding container where i set the shrimp during arrival. A second shrimp died a few hours during acclimation 8/10 About 2 weeks later 2 more shrimp died 6/10. The noticeable thing about these 3 shrimp is that they had a parasite called Vorticella (this was noted as white fuzz around their heads). This means that the breeder probably did not keep the best water parameters, probably did not clean water, or vacuum the gravel properly. The tank where i had placed them had already been cycled for 2 years and there were other tank mates such as Amano shrimp and mystery snails. In those two years not once did i have a parasite not even planaria. Unfortunately these two shrimp did not survive long enough to be quarantined. I was able to quarantine the 3rd one and treated it with aquarium salt. However a few weeks later it died 5/10. This left 5 remaining shrimp 3 females and 2 males. The shrimp seem to be happy and they are berried and i can already see that there are baby shrimp in the tank. This means the water parameters I have are appropriate and they seem to be content. Keep in mind this is 50/50 batch and there were a lot of red flags since the moment the shrimp arrived. Its always a deep sorrow when these creatures pass away and i did my best to help them. I hope that this review serves as a sincere observation about purchasing from this vendor and that you can make an educated decision. I can safely say i will 100% NOT be buying shrimp from this vendor again.

Vibrant, active, happy shrimps! (for the most part)
Packaging was great and arrived much faster than anticipated. There were 10 RCS in the bag, though based on scattered shells/legs there were probably a few more, but they probably died and were taken care of by the others during transit. Shrimps were very active upon opening the package. They scattered everywhere once light reached them and I was happy to see 9/10 of them were bright red, with one being slightly a dark/faded red, probably due to stress from transit. Not a big deal. Got them drip acclimated and added to my tank. Highly recommend this seller. Update: Day 3 of having added them to my tank, the one discolored shrimp has died unfortunately. Not a knock on the seller, just how shrimps are sometimes, even the healthiest shrimps can randomly die in proper water parameters. After about two weeks, I've had a total of 3 shrimps that died out of the 10. That's okay, there was an algae bloom due to the heatwave that threw the water parameters off so I'll take the blame on this one. Update 2: I upgraded my tank to a larger tank so I bought another 10 from the same seller. This time I received 11, with one shrimp carcass that was torn up, so I assume there was 12 in the bag. Of the 11 remaining, 3 were discolored (brownish red) and one was missing an eye. 7 out of 11 look healthy and are acclimating now. This second batch looks slightly lower quality than the first batch and less healthy, but I'll leave my 5 star review and see how they acclimate.

Healthy, active shrimp
First review (below) was posted after a few hours. I've updated now about a week later. So there are more that like going into the filter. Not sure why, but they can jump back out into the water, and usually do after a few hours, so I've stopped worrying. They're very active. Their color got a little brighter after they settled in. They like hiding to sleep, so when I turn the light on it looks like everything died in the tank, but after half an hour or so they're awake and swimming around. I'm ordering more from Aqua Huna. They're great. Original review below: They arrived quickly, just one day. There were instructions on how to safely acclimate them, and it's important to note, that is not the same as if they came from the store and were bagged maybe an hour. The water was yellow when I got it and this worried me. But I followed directions and they are zipping around the new shrimp tank, getting everywhere. One keeps going in the filter. He's not too bright. They were bagged with a moss ball, and they seem to like it. I put it in the tank with them and they rest on sometimes. Overall, they're young, small, active and healthy. I was very worried about ordering them, but given the state of the world, that was my only option for establishing a shrimp tank safely. I'm glad I did. They're fabulous.

Order two times. 2 experieces
Order 2 different times this is first review. Second one not happy. I was a little worried ordering them now in the season here. early January in MI. I brought package in and opened it thinking it was a water plant I also ordered. I saw these things zipping around and was like oh these are the shrimp they came early. Very active little guys meaning they are healthy! None dead. I didn't do a count but looks about right. Very happy! Second review. Shipped from power ping pong through aqua huna. First review was bought and shipped from aqua huna who I still think needs 5 stars. But power ping pong shipped bringing it down to 3 stars. This is why... Bag leaks. No sponge. Full of gravel. Late delivery. And worst is I recieved 8 for the price of 10. Only good thing is they were all alive and seem fine. With this order the old 5 went to 3. Good one was shipped from aqua huna. This was bought from aqua huna and must be a distributor for them. Shipped from power ping pong.
