Nice for the price

Both of mine seem to work fine right out of the box. Haven't tried to reprogram anything yet, but XCTU seems to be happy reading data from my XBees over the USB.

May need to get CP210X drivers from Silicon Labs

This did not work out of the box on either of my two Windows PCs (XCTU software did not discover any ports), and the Waveshare wiki and documentation are terrible. However, I eventually figured out that the drivers you probably need are the CP210X drivers from Silicon Labs, which seemed to fix the problem.

Doesn't show up as a device on MacOS; and no instructions?

There're no instructions included in the box, and it doesn't show up as a device on my computer. Was expecting it to "just work", like FTDI devices, Arduinos, etc. But nope! XCTU (the Xbee configuration utility) doesn't even see it, and I can't find any source for installation instructions, other than a jumbled wiki page that seems to assume it came with an installation CD or something (it didn't)?

Works great

Sending data at 52 kbps and running happily for the last month or so.
