Chute will clog
Love this chipper! Only complaint, if it is fed to fast, the chute will clog. Would recommend a clean out on the chute tube or make the chute a little less of a taper.

Useless show pony - marketing BS
It can only do 1" branches on its own. This chipper is a lazy design - DK probbaly just slaps together something that looks like it should work, but doesn't care that in paractice it nearly useless. It excels at stalling. If your going to chip anything above 1" you will need to use stabbing motiins - push in quick and pull out quick. If you dont pull it out fast enough, the teeth will suck it in and the motor quickly stalls. This means doing a 6 foot long 2" thick branch will take a few minutes and some effort - this is for softwood. If its a half inch branch, do one at a time to avoid stalling. One it stalls, you need to perform a time consuming disassembly to free the teeth. It also assmbled with bolts that need a wrench on both sides and no notches to help line up the chute. I've had this 3 years, but have only used it 8 or so hours and really need to resell it to free up space. Unless your chipping branches less than and inch in diameter, avoid these realiatavely cheap models - they can do little for the price.
