Brilliant yoyo, my friend has an identical model.Learned a lot of new tricks and the yoyo sleeps for a good length of time, leaving plenty of room to practice. Quite tough, hasn't been damaged by a few impacts with concrete, plaster and my own bones.My big piece of advice is to practice outdoors on grass and let go of it as soon as it starts to sling out of control. My second best piece of advice is to not be afraid to unscrew the yoyo to reach awkward knots in the string. My final piece of advice is to simply put it down when it frustrates you and come back with a cool head.In conclusion it is a great starter yoyo but it could do with some more strings.

This is a good quality low cost yo yo with a plastic bearing. Easy to throw and achieve moderate spin/sleep time. Fits nicely in the hand, fine for small hands too. A good all round starter yo yo.

Doesn't seem to sleep for long enough - it's one of the cheapest yo-yos you can get on Amazon in the UK so I guess you can't expect much. But given it has been 20+ years since I last owned and used a yo-yo, I would've thought the technology in them would let them sleep for 5 minutes or something but this doesn't let you do the basic 'rock the baby' for much time at all without winding it back then re-sleeping it.

I'm 36 and had an urge to buy a yo-yo for the first time since my teens again. Had a quick look around the net and seen the spinstar mentioned a few times.It's a solid plastic "bearing" and it sleeps for a few seconds with no issue. But after a week of use the bearing has ground down. And now doesn't respond properly at all.If you're looking for a responsive yo-yo there's a lot better options on the market for a couple of quid more which have a metal bearing
