Excellent quality, tight fit. Easy to put put together. The pieces are very snug, use glue though.

Works well. Assembled with both glue and pneumatic staples. They will pull apart when full of wax and honey if you dont do both.

Hoover products work well for me. The bees seem to take to it and the boxes look cooler with the unpainted wood look and bees wax finish. If bee keeping was my livelihood, I'd make them myself but try to duplicate what they do. Galena Farms seems to honor their commitment to delivering a good product

The quality is excellent. Sure there are some knots, but the bees don't care about that! (Personally I think they add to the beauty.) Each piece was perfectly cut for a nice snug fit that was super easy to assemble (I've had issues with unassembled woodenware being a little "wonky" before) and the frames felt sturdier than unassembled frames I've bought before. However, the difference between a good company and a great company is how they treat their customer when there is an issue. There was a little mix-up with my order, causing some parts to not be in the box. When I contacted them about the issue, they responded to me within a day, and very soon after I had the missing parts. Great quality. Great price. Great customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Let’s get right to it, for the money, it’s good enough quality. It’s nice they include screws/nails in with the package but really you should just buy a staple gun. The nails are good but take a long time to install. It’s made of soft wood so definetly not the most durable frames but they’ll get the job done

The best looking hive out there! I feel better giving my bees the natural looking wood with their own preferred beeswax as a natural wood preservative rather than unnatural paint. The wax features the wood grain as well as stain and polyurethane. I have already ordered more from these guys. Just a note, you have to realize this is wood dipped in melted wax so expect to see wax drips and be prepared to scrape off a little at the joints if needed to make perfect fit. The cuts are already perfect. The different thicknesses of the wax may need smoothing out. However, I’d not have it any other way. You can reuse what you scrape off but this allows you to know you are getting just two ingredients: wood and beeswax!

Very nice product. First thing me I ordered. My son bought me my first two bee boxes. I got it all b put together went to set on top of existing been boxes and it is to big. Approximately 2 inches to big on sides. What did I do wrong. I thought being same brand it would fit. Amazon description says 3" by 3 inches. Couldn't find in description the dimensions of finished box. Now it hanged over bottom two boxes and I'm having trouble finding correct size.

I have purchased hive bodies from other companies . These are by far the best. Assembly is straight forward. These are heavily waxed dipped so you may have to scrape some wax out of the dove tail joints to put them together. I have some that are 3 years old and they look like new. These are the only hives for me.

They were easy to assemble. The frames were made of good snug fitting parts.
