Hoppe's No. 9 Lubricating Oil

I’ve always been a fan of Hoppes number nine cleaning solvent and oil ever since I was a kid. My father, a career police officer, used this for all his arms and just the smell brings back waves of nostalgia. When I became a gun owner myself I followed in his footsteps and recommendation and thus number nine has become a staple in my cleaning kits. To say it works well would be an understatement. The lubrication quality is an industry standard and is a great value for your money. Hoppes number nine solvent is also one of the best cleaning solutions available and works incredibly well on even the most dirty and neglected arms. I’d easily recommend this to anyone.

All Hoppe's 9 products do not require an introduction. If you care about your firearm, this should be your go to brand. The bottle is small and lightweight, making it easy to take with you into the wild or the range, but the oil itself is extremely effective. The oil has very little to no smell and does not dry out in the bottle if stored for long periods of time. There is a reason why this product is so popular and rated highly, it simply works.

Good product works well

I wanted something that would stick better to slide rails. Better than Lucas. Well since I read this stuff is thicker than Lucas I gave it a try but to be honest I find that Lucas last longer. Idk why this stuff seemed to just be runny once It left the bottle. It’s certainly not bad lube but I find Lucas to be better for carry.

In my opinion Hoppe’s No. 9 will always reign supreme. However I know most firearm oils are pretty good. It does last a long time from my experience, keeps good protection, helps for smoothness and I love the smell. Will always recommend!

Quick and easy to oil gun

Third or fourth time buying this item. I am not sure how effectively other products work compared with this one, but I have used Hoppe's for a long time, and that's what I'll stay with. The container is a decent size, comes out smoothly, and does it's job at lubricating guns.

Funciona excelente tanto para dar mantenimiento preventivo, así como también re acondicionar mecanismos con piezas metálicas (como navajas) en mal estado. Lo he utilizado tanto en navajas suizas como con navajas de alta gama. 100% recomendable.

Ya conozco el producto por llevar utilizándolo varios años. Buena viscosidad, suaviza cualquier tipo de movimientos entre metales. El fabricante conoce bien su oficio.

Used for an aging, noisy PC fan in a specialist part that would have been hard to replace. Cleaned the fan with airduster and contact cleaner, then oiled using this stuff. The small needle tip was excellent for getting around the electronics and into the barrel of the fan. A few manual spins later and it was spinning so much more freely than before. Once back together, any noise from aging bearings was gone and it'll probably last another 10 years. Definitely a new addition to my hardware fixing toolbox.
