I won't use any other pencil but this one. I started using it when I was 16 years old. I used it as an eye liner and eyebrow filler also used it on the wet line of my eye lids. It gives clean lines, no smudging or smearing and it's water proof. After 47 years I still use this to fill in my eyebrows. I have five daughters and they also use this pencil. If it's good enough for my girls, I can most certainly recommend Maybelline Expert Wear Eyebrow Pencil to anyone else. Make-up is the the best ever.Susan

This has always been my favorite eyeliner. Have tried others, but always go back toMaybeline. I do burn it to make it dark. Always my go to.

over the years i have strayed away to other brands, even pricey ones, but end up going right back to using this old decades favorite. Unlike a lot of new eyeliners & mascara products that disappear after a bit, there is a reason this pencil eyeliner has been around for decades, it and a lighter is simply the best eyeliner there is to me. been mostly using it for over 3 decades and no matter what age you are or how your eyes are aging, lightly melt tip with lighter, softly blow on it to cool it some and poof you have yourself the best soft liner pencil in black there is and it stays on the inside of your eyelids the longest too. just invest in a decent eyeliner pencil sharpner.. i think i shall quit straying away now, there is just no better.

I have used Maybelline eyeliner for a really long time now and love the way their pencils draw on so smoothly. This two package deal is also amazing! If you’re thinking about buying, I would recommend because the effect is so beautiful. However, just be aware that like any other pencil, you will have to sharpen it which sometimes makes the product crumble. It hasn’t been a major problem for me though.

This is my favorite eyeliner and I have been using it since the 80's. It can be used for both eyes and brows. I like it because you can use it for lightly lining your eyes and for doing really dark lines. The trick to doing really dark black lines is to melt it for a couple of seconds over a lighter, let it cool for another few seconds, blow on it, then carefully line your eyes. If you make a mistake, you can easily correct it with eye makeup remover on aQ-tip. It stays on pretty much all day (and night - lol) as well if you use the melting method. I recommend you give the melting method a try if you are looking for a dark black liner that really stays put better than any other. It doesn't flake off or really smear. You might only have to touch up at the corner of your eyes, but that's about it.

I’ve used this particular eyeliner for about 20 years. It stays on all day without smearing. It’s the only eyeliner I will use. Only time I will ever use anything else is if I run out, but I try not to let that happen.

I have used this pencil since I was a teenager (25yrs) I use it both for brow definition and under my eyes. I have always bought black, never tried the other colors.For brows, I like that it stays in place and doesn't smear.For eyes, I like that it sharpens really well. Never does the pigment separate from the wood of the pencil (some other brands I have tried, when I sharpened, the colored/pigment part would fall right out of the pencil!) The pencil is real wood, so when I sharpen, I always blow on it, to remove any wood dust or shavings.This also does not burn my eyes (other pencils do) doesn't run or smear. Washes off easily when I wash my face. For me, this is a staple in my make up bag.
