this thing is so awesome, a hook, a light, long wire, a switch. exactly what i need for a camp light because it doesnt have battery so i don't have to worry about it going bad.

Really Illuminating Idea
I thought it was chargeable via USB port. It is not. However, if a person has a power bank to plug the USB cord into, these are wonderful lights. I can easily read by it. Having a switch on the cord is a great idea - makes it much more convenient to use.

What a game changer!
I use these during power outages with power banks, sometimes with an extension cord.I also have battery powered lanterns and headlamps and those are great, but the light throws real nice from these bulbs. I use the hook to hook where I need them, even under a lamp shade for the illusion of normal.My power has been out a few days now, giving me time to write reviews of what things are making my life tolerable. As soon as the world returns to normal I'm getting a couple more of theseEdited to address some of the bad reviews:These are not rechargeable bulbs, they require a power source. I've seen some of the rechargeable bulbs, they don't really perform wellThe switch is bye the USB plug because it's designed to plug into a source and the bulb can be hung up. It would be much more inconvenient if the switch was by the bulb.Mine work on the power cells that I use it with, I know some will shut off if it doesn't sense enough watts being drawn. I use mine with older ones and haven't had that issue.
