For the price, you get a great little compact, "emergency" backpack for the price that folds into itself so you can store it in a car glove box, in other luggage or another backpack, etc.I just received the bag about a week ago, after purchasing as a lightning deal for a little less than $10. We took it to my daughter's softball tournament as an extra bag, as we carry a bunch of miscellaneous "stuff" to these all day tournaments. I had my camera, a canon 70d with 70-200mm lens (mentioning this, as this combo makes for a pretty large and long piece of equipment, but no dedicated camera bag. It was very windy, and the dirt from the infields was blowing all over the place, so I used this backpack to keep my expensive camera an lens out of the dust. It worked great, and carried the heavy camera an lens with no issues, even though this is NOT a large backpack.It is great that it has places for water bottle and extra compartments, though I haven't used either, yet.There is little to no padding on this bag, which I could see being an issue if you were to carry anything with hard edges for an extended period of time, but sacrificing the bulk of padding to have a nice little bag in reserve is well worth it - I would never have this bag as a primary, everyday backpack. So, if you want a cheap little reserve bag, I would not hesitate to buy this bag.

This is a light, packable backpack. I appreciated the 2 water bottle holder spots on the sides. The ventilated straps kept it from getting too hot on my arms. It was nice to have a small pocket on the front. Plus, the packing pouch serves as a pocket on the inside, when the backpack is in use. It is durable and comfortable to wear/carry. It packs easily back into the attached zipper pouch and packs nicely into my luggage.

We bought this to take on a trip to Italy last month. We knew the weather would be bouncing between warm and cool temperatures and wanted something light and easy to carry jackets and water in. It is so lightweight and comfortable, and yet we were able to fit water and four packable down jackets in it easily. No one minded carrying it because you hardly knew it was there. We were very happy with it. As soon as we got home, I put the backpack in our camper. It will be great to take along on hikes!

My husband thought it was too small for him 5'10 but using it in the plane and travel within Europe, he thought it was very convenient and practical. He had his crossbody belt bag that he uses everyday in the US but chose to use the Gonex backpack while travelling. It can hold a lot more - 2 water bottles, rain coats, a small umbrella, etc.. without being too bulky. It was still in good condition after 2 weeks of travel.

Bought as a back up storage bag during trip to Europe. Compact and lightweight. Thin straps but not bad- held a decent amount of clothes enough for a small load of laundry on the go. No rips or damage from being moved around a lot. Can’t speak on waterproofing as I did not get it wet. Would recommend and use again in a future trip as an extra stuff bag.

I loaned mine to my sister-in-law and she liked it so well, it was a perfect gift for her. She especially liked how easy it was to use and comfortable to wear and very light-weight and strong. I looked good giving her this gift.

100% had to leave a review how awesome this backpack worked for our family in Europe. Each member of our family was allowed to bring a carry on and a backpack for their luggage. But, we needed something for everyday use while we traveled to various sites, not a large carryon backpack. Enter this sweet little bag. It folded up nice and compact into our luggage and was extremely useful for day to day travel. It was very comfortable on my husband’s shoulders and could house a surprising amount of stuff! Sweatshirts, water bottles, snacks, first aid kit, you name it, we packed it in there. We went to several museums and tourist spots and none had a problem with the size of this bag. Also, one museum required (for security purposes) my husband to wear the backpack forward on the front side of his body, but he had no complaints that it was uncomfortable. The backpack held up incredibly well throughout our two weeks. It was perfect and can’t wait to use it again!

I bought this backpack to take with me when I travel. I usually put everything in a backpack to travel with, but I wanted a smaller bag to be packed for day to day use whilst away. This bag delivers.I just took it to New York with me for a long weekend and I LOVED it! It packs up super small, which was a must to fit it in my bag… my mom has a different kind and it packs up SO bulky. It is light and thin and fit everything I wanted in it. It was small enough on my back that I didn’t have to wear it on the front of me whilst at a museum. It is super cheap, but durable. It had an easy water bottle pocket, that did for my Nalgene since I didn’t have the bag packed at its maximum. It looks like a plain backpack. I will take this with me on every trip. It is easy to pack up, easy to use, and easy to love!
