Very clear, concise instructions, great color pages and images, answers in the back, such a wonderful resource, especially for the price. I DO wish the pages were perforated, that is about the only complaint I have. The past 2 years we have used these, I just take an evening and gather all the Sylvan books we have bought and take a couple hours tearing out the entire book being careful not to rip pages in half as it can be easily done if in a hurry, hole punching it and storing it in a 3 ring binder. That way, all year I do not have to be tearing out X amount of pages per day or week etc. and they are all handy and ready to go. I would pay extra to have them perforated! haha But despite the extra work (which technically isn't all completely necessary but we've found it impossible to use without at least tearing out the pages) I still highly recommend these lesson books. Review: Improved her reading and holds her interest! - My daughter is about 2/3rd of the way through this book and we've both been very pleased with this resource so far. I'm homeschooling and was using another reading curriculum, but felt she need something else to supplement. I can tell an improvement in her reading abilities as a result of this book. She calls this her "favorite school book"! I like that she looks forward to doing it and she is also definitely learning! I'm looking forward to using more Sylvan products in the future. I really like that this has 3 books in one. We usually do a few pages from each section and I feel like it is good variety.

great color pages and images
We use these to supplement our home school activities. Very clear, concise instructions, great color pages and images, answers in the back, such a wonderful resource, especially for the price. I DO wish the pages were perforated, that is about the only complaint I have. Improved her reading and holds her interest!
My daughter is about 2/3rd of the way through this book and we've both been very pleased with this resource so far. Great book - combines two Sylvan Kindergarten workbooks
This is a very comprehensive book for your kindergartener or pre-k child. It appears to be a combination of two other Sylvan kindergarten books: Alphabet Activities and Reading Readiness. If you're going to buy one of those books, spend a bit more and get this one. My Pre-K child is really enjoying this book - it is challenging enough for him to keep him engaged. This book will help your child learn to read sight words after you first concentrate on writing letters and recognizing beginning and ending sounds of words. I've been using a number of different kindergarten workbooks for my son from various publishers, but I have to say, this is one of the best! Highly recommend.

Great tutorial books for kids!
I really like Sylvan's line of tutorial books for kids. I looked at a lot of the other ones available, including Kumon, and just didn't like them as much. This is one of the "mega" book collections, has 3 separate books all in one, and for the price is a much better deal. My daughter enjoys most of the activities, and they do a good job of making the learning somewhat fun.

Kindergarten Lenguage Arts Success
My son is in pre-k he is four years old and after he studied this book he has improve a lot more, now he can write and read the alphabet and numbers ,he likes this book very much every day he wants to practice and practice and I do not know how to stop him because he really enjoys this book and he is very happy with it:} .His teacher has told me that he is helping in class to his friends and he feels even more happy.

Language arts Kindergarden study.
I am happy with this kindergarden english book it covers writing (upper case, lower case) letters. It also has some coloring which can take some childrens mind of the harder work they've done! kinda like a little break between pages.This item was 2 days early! & with no damage good purchase.

Homerun curriculum choice
We use this daily, and she is already reading as a result. We homeschool, and this was my pre k choice to get the ball rolling. It is divided into lessons, 2 - 3 pages per lesson. The graphics are engaging, colorful pictures.

Tough but a good one.
The book is not so easy for a kindergarten to do alone. but with little assitance he should be able to do. make the little mind to think and activites are good.
