COVERGIRL Eye Enhancer Eyeshadow Palette, 850 Queenship (Packaging May Vary)

I use this color palette most days because it’s simple, reliable, and works perfectly for my everyday makeup routine. The COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Palette has soft, wearable shades that are easy to blend and don’t require a lot of effort. The formula goes on smoothly and lets me keep things natural for daytime or build it up a little when I want more definition. It’s not complicated at all, which is exactly why I reach for it so often. It’s become one of those everyday staples that makes getting ready quick while still looking put together.

Colors are as expected, very pretty, however, it was shipped with several other items that I ordered and it was loose inside the box. This caused some breakage of a couple of the colors in the pallette. ☹️ I am changing my review to 5 because the damaged product was replaced for free the next day! Great customer service. COVERGIRL - Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Eyeshadow - Pure Romance I had some hesitation after opening the package and finding such a difference in the shades I received (see photo) and the shades I thought I had ordered. But after scanning the bar code (and trying very hard to read the teeny tiny white printing on a pale pink background on the back) I have come to the conclusion that I did not, in fact, receive the wrong colors. So while I was hoping for mauvey pink tones, what I got, as you can see, was a lot more lavender/purple with gray tones. I considered returning it, but figured since I'd gotten it at a good price, I'd give it a try, if I hated it, I'd pass it along to someone else. Well... to my surprise, I really liked it. The colors are sheer but just pigmented enough that you can put them on and see them on your lids without having to spend 5 minutes with a blending brush to tone down the color. So you can definitely build to the depth and amount of color that you want. The quality is very nice; it looked just as good at 5 pm as it did when I put it on. The colors are soft and creamy and go on easily. I didn't notice any smudging or fading. If it helps, I am fair-skinned with blue/gray eyes and cool undertones, and while I am not normally a fan of purple shades (I am much more comfortable with nude or neutral shades) because they tend to be too bright for me, I don't mind these. I am considering ordering some of the other shades, but hesitant since I don't know what colors I will actually end up with. But other than that, I would recommend them--but maybe check them out in a store first and see how the colors in the picture compare to the real thing.

Product was super pigmented, and the colors were beautiful, but the eyeshadow cracked so easily and went everywhere even with gentle use. It does stay on all day, however. I used a normal makeup brush for application and mixed colors to get how I wanted them to look. Overall, good product.

This eyeshadow stays on all day. It goes on easy as well. The 4 shades make it easy to travel with and they r very neutral ! The darkest color is a bit too dark for me., but can be blended with a lighter color. The price is good too

Mainly ordered this for the black shimmer color. It's definitely pretty, but there's a lot of cleanup involved. I've only used it maybe 5 times (haven't used the other colors yet) and you can see from the picture that it gets everywhere easily even though I go in very lightly with the brush. Speaking of which, there is *a lot* of fallout when applying. Definitely recommend applying this shadow *before* applying face makeup since cleanup will be needed. The black smears when you try to wipe it off your face so a makeup wipe or micellar water cotton pad will be needed to fully clean it off. On the plus side, random fallout during the day actually isn't too bad and even after 8-10 hours the shadow doesn't look faded or smeared. The sticker/seal that holds the case together leaves a sticky residue on the outside when removed before first use. I tried scraping the adhesive off with a makeup wipe but it just got soggy for a bit, then back to sticky 😑 Also would like to point out that the enclosed applicator "wand" doesn't do the trick and the shadow went on very lightly while using it. However when using my own small angled brush, it went on very smoothly and much more pigmented. Just don't push your brush too hard into the eyeshadow or the whole thing will likely crumble. Might order this again despite the issues because the shimmery black is actually pretty and it's affordable. It just seems a bit messy.

The Desert Heat pallet does not have the bright reddish tones that the picture implies. Other than that, just basic eyeshadow, good neutrals for the collection.

Although there are other cheaper ones in the market, I chose this because it’s talc-free. Also there is a little compartment for the applicator. I find it very convenient. I cut double-ended cotton buds (into 2) to replace the sponge applicator once it is worn out. Very happy with this purchase.
