Silikomart Silicone Chocolate Dinosaur Mold

First, I like the mold a lot - works well for making homemade gummy treats with grass-fed gelatin, juice, and fruit - no nasty food dyes, HFCS, etc.However, I was surprised that only one mold was in the package. Two are shown in the picture, so I assumed that two were coming in the package. Also, the price for this single mold was the same as buying a dino mold with a robot mold from another seller. I went back through the description and it's not specific that only one mold is included for this price. So while the product itself is worth 5 stars, it receives only 4 stars for the lack of clarity in the ad. Hopefully the seller will clarify this so future buyers are aware.

The individual dinosaurs are a bit small as stated in another review. I needed them to top cupcakes so it wasn't a problem for me but I can see how the picture is a bit deceiving. Each dino stands about 1 inch tall and ranges from 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. I wish I knew this information before I ordered them but it will work for me. Other than the size, the quality of the mold is great. You will have to place it on a cookie sheet to keep the mold from flexing but that's not a big isuue because the flexiblity made it easier to take out the chocolate.

The silicone is great for chocolate making, and the dinosaur shapes are adorable. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who loves chocolate and dinosaurs! SO much better than plastic molds!There's only one flaw I'm aware of, and if Amazon permitted half-star ratings, this would probably be a 4.5 because of it: the mold is brown. And shiny. Not unlike molten chocolate. If you're just making solid chocolates, this won't be a problem, but if you're making truffles it makes it a little difficult to see if you've fully coated the edges of the mold with chocolate. It's a small flaw, however, and with some care and practice you can get good truffles out of the mold.

These are nice olds. However I have used them a lot over the last 6 months and now they have ripped in many places and ar unusable. I had wanted silicone so it would hold up better. A little disappointed but very cute design.

I love this mold! My son loves dinosaurs, so I bought this mold to make chocolates for his birthday cupcakes and for his favor bags. I have melted different types of chocolates and pour them in the mold, put in freezer and in 5 min. you have perfect dinosaurs the are easy to take out of the mold. These are small, but they are the perfect size for candies. I think the price is good for something that will last forever.

They worked fantastic with dark chocolate. I had a bit of trouble with a peanut butter chocolate. They came out but did not have that shine that the dark chocolates do.

This mold is super cute! I was expecting it to be a little larger. I used it to make recycled crayons for my son's dinosaur themed birthday party. It worked great!

I bought this to use for my son who currently has a dinosaur obsession. Not only do we use it for treats, but we also use it for making crayons out of his old broken ones by melting them and pouring them into this mold. He loves them and they fit nicely in his hand and they don't roll off of the table. We also use it for Jell-o and small muffins. Washes nicely in the dish washer. Great quality for the Amazon price too.
