Gigabyte has taken the step to get more sockets on their mini motherboards. But in doing so the space became hard to get the cables into the sockets. They solve this by using this adapter. a smaller male plug goes into the reconfigured socket on the board and then the pigtail has a normal 4 pin socket that is now ~2" away from the board. You then plug your fan leads into this socket with ease. A simple but functional idea as a way to utilize your fan ports without going crazy just plugging them in. Necessity is the mother of invention . . .

I took off a star because It looks like the photos for the regular connector and mini connector were mixed up. I bought based on the product photo which looks like the mini GPU fan connector I actually needed to connect my NZXT Kraken X53 AIO and Kraken G12 to my EVGA GeForce 2080 Ti XC Ultra Gaming. I didn't look for a mini GPU fan connector because I didn't know one existed so when it arrived I was disappointed to see it wouldn't connect the GPU board to the PWM fan or pump. Otherwise it seems like a perfect solution. Update: they’re not mixed up, the regular one came in and it seems like the mini plug is just too big. I added a fifth star since it was my mistake and it’sa really good product, just not what I need.

the cable is perfectly fine, but it does not work for my application. i have a Gigabyte B550i AORUS PRO AX motherboard, which has a fan header labeled SYS_FAN1 and another labeled SYS_FAN2. SYS_FAN1 is a normal 4-pin header. SYS_FAN2 uses some stupid nonstandard connector. i bought this hoping that it would work, but it does not.

I deshrouded an old GPU because the fan had failed, and I had a spare 120mm fan just sitting around. Used this to power said fan, zip ties to hold the fan in place, and bam! Working GPU fan. Easy peasy.

This fulfilled my needs to add my own fans to my gigabyte RTX 4070 that I deshrouded.

Works on Raspberry Pi fan ports and is a snug fit.

I need an extension to reach my fan header, this worked great and at a good price. I would buy it again.

Does it work? Yes. However I got this to hook up a 92mm fan to a now watercooled 1080ti. It hooked right up and the fan did report RPM's but now that the card is SO COLD, it never tries to rev up the fan, which makes this thing kinda pointless. It is very well made and Im sure will work just fine for applications such as the Morpheus cooler that uses regular fans.

Did Exactly what i wanted from it, Adapted a normal Case Fan with PWM, for use in the Xbox One S as it is not easy finding a correct fan to use in the Microsoft M/Board connector

Deshrouded my rtx3080 graphics card. Was able to upgrade the fans with this wire. I now have 2 silent Noctua redux fans which keep the card relatively silent and cool. No whining noise when fans are maxed out. Great value.

Lo que me gustó de este cable es que cumple con su función, se nota de buena calidad y acabado resistente. Es un complemento que a mi parecer debería estar incluido o al menos recomendado con la adquisición del NZXT G12. Explicando un poco lo anterior, los sistemas de enfriamiento NZXT AIO son enfriamientos para CPU, por lo tanto este cable no es requerido, sin embargo, mi intención es enfriar la GPU con un su propio sistema de enfriamiento por lo que adquirí el complemento NZXT Kraken G12, el cual sirve para adaptar estos sistemas de enfriamiento a las GPUs. El software CAM no detecta la velocidad del ventilador que enfría el radiador conectado a la tarjeta de video pero se soluciona hasta que este cable es conectado al sensor de la GPU para administrar las RPM del ventilador que enfría el radiador.
