Works well for certain projects. More forgiving than bowl gouges for beginners. Nice tool.

Nothing much to add to what already has been written. I've got no complaints about using this negative rake carbide cutter for cutting my fusion bowls. Highly recommend.

Like all other Easy Wood cutters, this cutter does not disappoint. Clean cuts at low and high speeds, easy to install, easy to adjust as the edge starts wearing, and has quite a long life even when cutting very dense exotic hard woods.

This is the first time I am using a carbide cutter for wood lathe work and I am impressed.Super sharp and super durable so far. I will be getting more inserts soon and making up more handles for them.

I found this to be a nice cutter, the edge was sharp and the cut it makes is rather clean. The cutter I received in the mail looked like it sat for some time so I did have to clean it up before i threw it on. After having spoke with customer reps at EWT tools before i was not going to try again. Like many others i made my own tool, i turned a handle after running 2 pieces of wood on a jointer and a router, put in some square tube stock, and mounted the cutter down with a 10/24 screw and bolt. If your using this do be weary, at the wrong angle it CAN and will kick back a bit. Though.. its not exactly the worst. It kicks back less than a dull chisel, so, not exactly the worst. All in all though I would give this four stars.

I'm not a fan of carbide cutters but these are the best I've seen.

I was very disappointed when the cutter arrived. Sine other competitors providers give upto 10 replacemecutterscfor that price. I was very dito only b get onevforvthat price. It should statethatthe descriptions that therevisbonly 1in the package. I'm sure it's a great cutter qualitysonim not knocking that but just felt b a bit saddened by the amount of cutters for that price.

I have a full size Easy Wood lathe tool and the cutter was near the end of life. The cutter comes with a new screw and it is simple to remove the old cutter and install the new one with the new screw.
