Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield, 100 ml

This is a great product. I originally bought it as a detangler before blow drying but its defence against the heat too, don’t need conditioner if you use this, hair feels and looks good after use 👌 been using for a few years now.

I love this , it was recommended to me by my hair dresser and have brought quite a few now , it really helps keep the frizz under control and leave s my hair lovely n soft . I also use the shampoo and conditioner too , oh and smell s great too

I use this all the time. It really protects my hair and as with other Joico products it smells so.nice.

I live in the Gulf, and my hair, subjected daily to high UV and sunshine, was in a real mess. Brassy looking, dry and breaking. I have been using expensive hair oils and blow-dry sprays. They were honestly not making enough of a difference, too much hair oil leaves your hair lank and the blow-dry sprays don't do enough and do not counteract the dryness. I bought this product based on review and price. I tried it yesterday for the first time. I couldn't quite believe the difference it made, not only did my hair look so much better, it was easier to style and hold the style. I did use a fair amount, certainly two squeezes. A day on my hair looks the same. I would thoroughly recommend it. My only surprise was that there was no cap on the bottle.

The best hair serum I’ve ever tried! This makes my hair feel so soft and hydrated and as someone who has fine hair which does get oily but dry ends it’s very hard to find products that work well for me. This however is the one! It’s so hydrating but doesn’t weigh my hair down and makes the ends nice and smooth. I have bleached hair which I regularly tone with a silver shampoo this helps protect my colour and keep it vibrant, especially as I have to wash my hair daily. Highly recommend this and I don’t think I could be without it. Looking to try other products from this brand now.

If you have bleached or heat-damaged hair, this shield is a lifesaver. It’s not just a leave-in conditioner; it’s a legitimate barrier that makes hair feel stronger and look much smoother. I have bleached/colored hair that tends to get very frizzy, especially with the dry air here in Alberta. I’ve been using the Joico Defy Damage Shield for about a month, and the difference is noticeable. What I love: Texture: It’s very lightweight. It doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy, which is a common problem with repair treatments. Protection: I use it before blow-drying and flat ironing. My ends feel much less "crunchy" and I've noticed significantly less breakage on my hairbrush. The Scent: It smells like a high-end salon product! The scent is fresh and stays in the hair for a while without being overpowering. Moringa Oil: You can really feel the softness. It adds a healthy shine that makes my hair look "expensive" again. A few things to note: A little goes a long way. For medium-length hair, a pea-sized amount is enough. If you apply too much near the roots, it might feel a bit heavy. The 100mL bottle is great for travel, but since I use it after every wash, I wish they had a larger pump version. In conclusion I would recommend it. It’s worth every penny if you want to protect your hair from heat and environmental damage. It works better than many more expensive brands I’ve tried.
