Best tip was from the chap who stated to use the wheel bolts to crack the bearing off the seat first, using the extraction clam shells to jack the studs against. Plenty of CV joint grease on the threads and standard grease on the bearing under the head, it will prevent the pins bending and bearing should come out easily. Outer hub needs to be clean, had to leave the clam shell screws slightly loose so it didn’t bind on the hub, same with the shells used for inserting the bearing. MAJOR NOTE: There is no cut out for the ABS sensor so you either need to remove that first IF it will come out or as I did put 2 large nuts up the threaded bar against the back of the bearing and then put the threaded nut on after that. NOTE 2: On installation, tricky to start the bearing, but once you get going it goes in fairly easy. Only major issue I had is, there is a recess on the inside of the black clam shells and the bearing is about 1mm or so proud of the hub once you fully pull it in. Had to use the threaded bar on its own and set it home the last 1mm or so until new bearing was flush with outside edge of the housing. You’ll hear the click of the retaining ring once it’s home properly. All in all a good tool for the job once you’re setup right. No pics to add on this review. I have left this review, as I was hesitant in buying a relatively cheap tool compared to Laser Tools which are excellent tools and do the task well, day in, and day out in the garage. but also expensive for a one off job to do at home. I read the mixed reviews and bought it and the tool did the the task effectively and quickly. as long as you watch any video on Youtube on this tool, you to take care in the extraction and installation when using this tool, it will work as described.
