Legrand - OnQ lyriQ Triple Source Input, In Wall Module with Flush Mount, Adjustable Gain Control for High and Low Output Devices, White, AU1011WH (Wall Plate Not Included)

I replaced my external Legrand On-Q converter "box" with this wall mounted plate that hides the RCA -> CAT5 converter in the junction box behind. Simply plug the CAT5 cable in the back and mount it in the box. Be sure to get the On-Q plate to finish the installation since it does not come with one. It is also very well made and simple to install. My only gripes would be the high price of this unit and the very limited instructions provided, but neither would prevent me from buying over again.

First let me start by saying that Legrand makes a good product. However, the "shipper' of this product sent me garbage. I bought two of these volume control pads, an 4x8 distribution switch, a triple source input, and two intercoms. Out of all that only the intercoms work. I've been on with Onq support several times and they had to ship me a replacement distribution switch (they honored the warranty). They also advised on how to troubleshoot the volume controls and after doing that they proved to be bad as well. Lastly, the rJ45 jacks on the back of the triple source input were falling off and couldn't make a connection to even power the thing. What a bunch of junk! I spent a lot of money on this stuff and because my project was delayed in my house repeatedly I couldn't get everything hooked up and tested until recently. And of course, I'm beyond my window to return anything to Amazon. My wife and I buy a lot from Amazon and I'm extremely disappointed that they would ship me defective product like this. If Amazon does monitor these reviews they should contact me and make this right.

Left channel does not work. Thought it was a wiring problem throughout home. After checking and rechecking wiring I plugged in speakers using fresh wire directly to volume control and was still getting a weak static noise. This was happening at every volume control. When I flipped the input L R wires, the input going into the left channel stopped working. Therefore the unit is faulty. Make sure you test it before installing in walls. Unfortunately I had installed this plate before I had any speakers to test it.

Left side speakers stopped working after two months.
