The Perfect name tag magnet!
I bought these magnets for my work. My work gave us new name tags but instead of using a magnet for the name tag they put a pin. I didn't even use my name tag at all since they didn't make wearing the name tag mandatory. I don't like the pin because it puts holes in my shirt. These magnets are a great price compared to what I have found. They are very expensive if you order from an office supply store and they are hard to find locally. Since it includes 10 magnets I gave one to each of my co-workers and they all paid me a dollar. These magnets have worked out great. What I really appreciated is that they already had tape attached to one of the magnets. All I had to do is peel back the paper and attach to the name tag. These magnets are very strong. I have not had any issues with my name tag falling off. I highly recommend these to anyone.

These magnets are TERRIFIC! Just exactly what we needed for our club name badges. Our club badges are engraved plastic consisting of a large name badge with pin clip on the back. In addition we all have (many) additional rectangular badges with club office/names of collectibles hanging from the name badge. Some weigh almost 3 ounces. I needed only ONE Applied Magnet to hold all that weight - even on a thick fleece vest. Super fast, free shipping via Amazon prime was the icing on the cake. I just order more. Now we can wear them on our t-shirts, too. Thanks!_____________________Update: Took magnets to club meeting and everyone loved them! So easy to apply and no need to remove the existing pin clasp. Nice that people can use it either with magnet or pin now. These magnets are so strong. As you can see in the photo, some members have many extra badges weighing up to 3 ounces. One magnet held them all very well. Great product for so little cost. Thank you.

My “go-to” for name tags and branding
I need to be in “branded” clothing for work which requires having embroidered shirts or a workaround which is using a patch and fixing it to whatever top I’m wearing. I’ve tried using fabric tape and hot glue guns to fix the patch to the front of a button and pinning the patch on, but the patches tend to peel off easily. These magnets come with the self adhesive strip which has been pretty durable for my patch (touch size 3x3 inches) so I would imagine the adhesive strip would do the job for smaller name tags as well. The magnets themselves are very strong and have even stayed put on puffy vests and some jackets.Overall, super pleased with these and will definitely buy again when I need to make more patches or name tags!

strong enough for hand carved name tags.
Great magnets. I purchased theses for hand carved wood name tags. The name tags are a light bass wood, and are 1.5 by about 3 inches. I do take off the adhesive and just use epoxy glue for inset the magnetic plate in the wood. Teachers, friends and others that have recieved them have loved them! With no complaints on the magnet. When not in use they can be stuck to the fridge and hold fine. Also conienvient for those who are tired of getting poked. I am buying them again. I also have purchased the magnets tags with 100 count and only have 2 magnets on the bar. They are good, and small nametags would be fine, but these are my favorite! Only complaint, was that I was in a hurry and didn't let epoxy cure long enough in warmth, (in winter months trying to hurry to finish my project) and carelessly dropped the magnet on the plate and it popped the plate backing off from the snap of the magnet with nothing between surfaces.

2 + 1 = Success for me!
2 = 1. Our scanners at work are at waist level, I didn't want to have to bend down every time I entered the building so that the scanner could read my badge. And, if I pulled my badge away from my shirt (to bring the badge down to the scanner) the blue magnet back part, inside my shirt, would fall down loose inside my shirt (not good). So I use 2 of the blue magnet back parts and everything works fine!Attach the shiny metal part to your badge (the metal part has double sided tape on it). Stick the blue plastic part with the 3 magnets to the shiny metal strip that's attached to your badge. The side of the blue part with the 3 magnets exposed goes against the shiny metal strip. Now take ANOTHER blue plastic part and put that one inside your shirt with the 3 magnets facing out (away from your skin and toward your shirt). You can now hold your badge, with the blue plastic back part up against your shirt and the magnets on the blue part inside your shirt will attract the magnets on the blue part that is already stuck to your badge. Done. If you practice, you can pull your badge free from your shirt (for scanning) and leave the blue magnet part stuck to the outside of your shirt. To do this, put your fingers flat against the front of your badge, put your thumb behind your badge and feel for the side of the blue plastic part. Push the tip of your thumb toward your finger tips as your fingers slide the badge in the opposite direction, THIS TAKES A LITTLE PRACTICE, maybe four of five times to get the hang of it.I've been using this 2 blue plastic parts Plus 1 shiny metal part technique for three weeks now without any problems. My badge has never fallen off my shirt. And, the magnets don't effect my badge of the scanners at the office. I'm very happy and it looks "clean" and professional on my shirt. I didn't want to pin my badge to my shirts because I didn't want to put pin holes in my shirt.I gave this four stars because the package comes with 10 shiny metal strips (with the double sided tape attached), and 10 of the blue plastic parts with magnets in them. If you use my technique, which requires 2 blue plastic backs to make one badge holder, you don't have enough parts to make ten badge holders, you only have enough parts to make five badge holders this was.

I like it
Reasonable size and magnet strength good value for the money. I like the three magnets versus only having two—it adds a little more stability
