You can see the glue all around the sole, base and where the suede meet. Next, there is no support, nor any cushion to this shoe. I put the insole from my old sketchers inside and a thick arch and heel support. I think they will work for work, now, but I have had better quality from a $15 pair of shoes. As for the fit, my foot measures 10.1” and the size 10 fits just right. I normally wear a 9 to 9 1/2US. All this being said, I am keeping them because the height is perfect for my job. Keep in mind if you get these, you will have to spend another $20+ for inserts and insoles. The platform is not flexible & has no give. I tried them with gel insoles but are still not as comfortable as I would like. A half size up makes them perfect! They do take a couple of days to break in, as with all new shoes. I work full time in retail, so these make my feet SO happy! My feet aren't even sore after a ten hour shift! These are perfect for people on their feet everyday, and they are even more comfortable than my last pair and my feet LOVE them!
