Works Pretty Much Anywhere
No matter where you go, this and an American extension cord will give you U.S. standard (110V 60 Cycle) electrical power all over your hotel room. It will fit any electrical power outlet I can think of, including all European styles, U.K. style, and Australian style. Be aware that this unit actually converts the electrical power to U.S. standard, as contrasted to adapters that merely make one plug fit into a different style socket but don't change the power itself. Also be aware that it will handle 250 watts max, so you won't want to be using hair dryers or other heating element devices, but then most hotel rooms provide those hard-wired to the wall.

Pricey but worth it
I was hesitant to spend $30 on a power strip, but I really needed one that lets me individually control each outlet. I am using this at an electronics workstation for repairing and assembling parts. There will be a lot of circumstances in which items won't have a power switch or where the switch on the item is part of what I'm testing where this is a crucial safety feature. As an added bonus, this strip has 2 USB ports. I've discovered these provide sufficient power for the Raspberry Pi 4, which is a HUGE plus as I frequently have one plugged in at my workstation, so I no longer need an additional power adapter. Of course, the USB ports can also be used to power or charge other devices I'm working on. It's a shame they aren't switched as well, but considering USB ports were more of an after-thought for me I won't complain. The 6.5' power cord is plenty long enough to reach from the outlet so I can set this up on the surface of my desk, and I like the fact that the plug is at 90 degrees so the cord runs parallel to the wall. Overall, I'm very pleased with this power strip and glad I spent a little more than I had initially budgeted.

Works as expected
I used this during a recent trip to Argentina. My mom and sister both bought adapters and converters but this is the only one that worked! There were times when we had to stack a couple of adapters on top of one another to plug it in but the converter still worked as expected. It didn't work with hair dryers but it did power a straightener (mostly). We were able to plug several devices at once without an issue. It seemed best for phones and devices. Be aware that there is a fan that turns on periodically that is a bit noisy if you are trying to sleep with it on. Also, the power button is on the side. This seems obvious but it is worth pointing out for people who haven't used it yet.

Has a QC3.0 USB port for faster charging.
Bought for a trip to Scotland. Before I left I realized that I only needed the plug adapter for the trip and that's all I took on the trip.I now use it when I need to charge multiple devices at one time. The one thing I don't like about the voltage converter is that it consumes power when the power button is off.Afternote, it probably isn't drawing any more power than a regular cell phone charger when the converter is powered off, according to my Kill-A-Watt.

LOUD! Fan, capacitors, just too loud.
It's a super cheap voltage converter. The fan in it is very loud. The capacitors are very cheap and you can literally hear them charging up. If you're in a hotel room and plug this thing in, you HEAR it. Also, the "protective" covers on the 120v plugs are entirely useless, but do serve to make it that the actual electrical contacts are deeper in the device than in a normal plug. This means that when you plug something in, it just BARELY touches the electrical contacts, and definitely doesn't make full contact (which is very, very bad engineering wise).All-in-all, I'll use it now because it's what I've got, but it's going in the trash as soon as I head back home.If you can't afford better, just check your electronics are 220v compatible and get a plug converter instead of a power converter. Terrible decision to buy this thing.

Worked well for me in France & Belgium for > 3 months so far
Though I did not have an oscilloscope handy to test its voltage and frequency output, I used it to power my few low draw 117v/60hz stuff with no problems at all. It states that it outputs 50hz, so I wasn't worried. Most of my other stuff were power bricks rated to input levels of 50-60hz and 110-230 v. It turned out I didn't need it as much, but I needed it some, and was glad to have it. Stows well. Easy to pack back up.

great foreign voltage converter
this product worked as advertised. it is light weight, has 3 outlets and 4 USB connections. Be advised that my wife's flat iron hair did fry after 2-3 uses.I do recommend it for travel to Europe.

Brother in law loved it so much we gave it to him
Needing a step down power source for American electronics overseas when host power is 220 to 240 definitely makes this power adapter a must.Worked flawlessly and the build quality is solid. Highly recommend this product. Worked great for yours truly when I travelled to The Philippines.
