ALPIDEX Tandem Pulley for textile ropes up to 13 mm and steel ropes up to 12 mm diameter

After researching the available choices I opted for the Alpidex unit. A good, well built trolley having S/Steel rollers for cable lines, bought for manually traversing horizontal zip lines (not careering down them). Has a lower Max speed than its more expensive competitor but it still reaches 10Mts/s (22mph) if you want to go there. Time will tell on the wear factors, but for personal caving purposes (and probably more) so far I'm happy.

Two of my friends also have these. We have been using them on steel zip wires for a couple of months, seems to be spot on. Usual signs of wear to be expected, hard to find a fault with this pulley for the price!

We used this to make a zipline with climbing rope. It was fantastic. Works smoothy, really fast, very controllable, very strong.

What a load of rubbish this product is, After some use the bearings failed in one roller which has made the product totally UN-useable.

Love this. Works really well. Have purchased another two.

great replacement for our previous zip wire runner that failed with me on board. This worked a treat on the 6,mm wire. I have yet to fit the 8mm wire

Well made with bearings, s/s steel wheels and much cheaper than other types - some tandem pulleys sell for over five times the price. Should last a long time. Highly recommended.
