Great item and easily hides under my entertainment center and provides more than enough outlets. I love the flat plug too since I can push my furniture closer to the wall.

If you are looking for a well made heavy duty surge suppressor this is the one you want. I purchased two of these units, one to go behind my TV stand to manage all the cables there and one for my son's computer. The main reason I chose this model is how the outlets are oriented. It allows some flexibility when dealing with standard plugs as well as power blocks that take up more space and often block one or more outlets when they are inserted. It's also nice to have a slot for running the cables from the side so you can wire manage them all and make it look a lot neater. I am also a big fan of the angled plugs and believe they provide for a much more secure and consistent connection. They are not easily bumped causing small unintended power disruptions. I am not using the RJ6 connections and honestly, I don't know anyone who really would now days. But I guess why not have them. Based on past experience I know Belkin makes quality components and this one is no exception. I have no trouble recommending this device. Well made with a good design that provides a lot of flexibility.

I purchased this Belkin surge protector in May 2011 while deployed to Afghanistan, and it is still working great today. The attached photo was taken in June 2026 and shows it is still operating with the protection indicator illuminated. More than 15 years later, it continues to protect my electronics without any issues. It has survived deployments, multiple moves and everyday use while remaining completely reliable. During that time, it has protected computers, printers, networking equipment, TVs, and countless other electronics without a single failure. Belkin surge protectors have always been my preferred choice because they simply work. The outlets are well spaced, the cord is not only durable, but very long and the unit has provided years of dependable protection. Looking back, I'm amazed I paid only $16.88 for it. Fifteen years of service for less than $17 is probably one of the best values I've ever received from many of my electronic purchases. When this one eventually stops working, I'll replace it with another Belkin.

One thing that I like about Belkin is that they have been around a long time and are a trusted brand for this type of product. I also like that you can go to their website and they have all specifications, including the all-important clamping voltage, listed, so you can find the exact product you need for your situation. This product is very nice except for one thing: it only has 500V clamping voltage, which is marginal for protecting computer equipment or high-end electronic equipment. Unfortunately, the clamping voltage is not listed in the description or anywhere I could find on Amazon's website and their Rufus agent even mis-identified the clamping voltage). Rest assured that the official Belkin website does list all of the specifications correctly, so be sure to go there to verify everything to make sure it is what you want. Also, to be fair, it is also clearly listed on the side of the box that it comes in. Unfortunately, Amazon does not have a full picture of the side of the box, so there is no way to know this from the information listed on the Amazon website. that said, 500V clamping voltage is still well below a lot of other surge protectors in this price range, which often have 600V or 800V clamping voltage. Be sure to do your homework regarding the clamping voltage before using for protecting a computer. And if it does not list clamping voltage, don't bother relying on it for surge protection. As for the product, it is very nice and is very flat physically, so it will be useful for a lot of my equipment that doesn't require a high level of surge protection. Finally, I should mention that I did order the Belkin 12-outlet, 4320 Joule surge protector (Belkin #11223008), which has 330V clamping voltage (verified on Belkin's website) that is perfect for protecting my computer and high-end electronics equipment. And it is only about $10 more than this product. I originally purchased this on a lightning deal last year. It was not totally impulse, more like one of those "oh yeah, I keep forgetting to get one of those and it's a good deal right now so I'll just go ahead and get one" kind of moments. The ratings looked ok so what the heck. It is sturdy and has several outlets. I don't use the phone plug the rest are used...maybe over-used is the right term. I'm not techno geek, but I always seem to have 10 things that need to be plugged in wherever I am. For instance, I'm sitting on the couch right now and have one next to me. It has my personal laptop, work laptop, lamp, 2 backup drives (1tb+ each), a printer plugged in. The one across the room has the 52" lcd Samsung, PS3, DVR, DVR wifi, and Bose speakers plugged in. 2 more in the house are equally utilized. I haven't had one problem (knock on wood!!) but I did keep one of the boxes on file which details the $300,000 warranty just in case. The warranty was relatively thorough compared to other surge protectors. I would recommend this item.

I like all Belkin power strip/surge protectors. I have always found them to be reliable. This one replaces one for my TV. I purchased the exact same thing since I was happy the way it sets up and lays flat. I read an article on surge protectors recently that recommends replacing them between 2-6 years depending on how many hits you think it took with power outages. Since this one was already 5 years old I thought probably not protecting my equipment as good as it use to so why not replace it. The cost is reasonable and protecting you TV and other like equipment is necessary in my area. I would definitely recommend this surge.

If you're looking for a quality surge protector with many outlets Belkin has you covered. It offers a good amount of energy protection and is backed by a lifetime warranty which has my vote of confidence. The outlets are spaced out well and face outwards to avoid being blocked by large power adapters. I would strongly recommend it for places like your desk where you might have the need for many outlets for your computer and chargers!

Okay so this is a surge protector. I bought to connect to my new longarm machine. I paid 23k for the machine and connected computer and I wanted good surge protector so I bought a name brand. But it is just a surge protector. When it arrived I read the box to make sure it had joules rating that was stated on Amazon. Sometimes they make mistakes. The joules was correct but what surprised me was the connected Equipment warranty. Oh it had the product warranty like everything always has... you know.. the if this product fails and your 23K machine bites the dust we will give you your money back warranty but it also has a warranty on products you plug into it, like my expensive longarm, up to $200k. Says so right on the box, and after looking on Amazon, says so on their page too. Can't beat that. I don't know how hard it would be to collect, but I expect the product is good enough you would not have to. I was very pleased to set it and I feel confident I chose well.

Me gusto mucho que trae contactos con mas espacio, en para esos eliminadores de las LapTop, o de algunos telefono que si los conectas ocupan mas espacio y se desperdicia una pocision. Con este multicontacto se acaba ese problema ya que tiene unos socket espaciosos.

Buen diseño, delgado y practico, pero por desgracia duro menos de lo esperado. en una serie de apagones se daño, mientras que tengo otros productos similares de otras marcas de mas tiempo que sobrevivieron. al final cumplio su mision de proteger lo que tenia conectado.
