An interesting and unique kind of book which you can get for a bargain price on Amazon.
This is one of the most unusual and unique books (The book of answers by Carol Bolt) I have ever read. The approach in this book begins with a one page explanation of “How to use the book of answers.” There are just five steps (1) Hold the book in your hand, on hour lap, or on a table.” (2) Take 10 or 15 seconds to concentrate on your question. Questions should be phrased closed-end. (3) Ask one question (either speaking out loud or visualizing the question) at a time as you place one hand on the book’s front cover and stroke the edge of the pages, back to front. (4) “When you sense the time is right, open the book and there will be an answer.” (5)” Repeat the process for as many questions as you have.” This book reminds me of the novelty eight ball I remember as a young child where you would ask the ball a question and then turn it over for the answer. Now instead asking an eight ball you merely ask the book and discover the answer. Each page has a single paragraph for an answer. The following is a very small sample of answers this book contains: “Remove your own obstacles.” “It may be difficult but you will find value in it.” ‘Don’t ignore the obvious.” “Be patient.” “Take a chance.” “Do it early.” “Gentle persistence will pay off.” I found this giant size hardcover book an interesting read. This is the author’s first book. If you like novelty and “tongue in cheek” kind of books you may want to check out this volume. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Haiku Moments: How to read, write and enjoy haiku).

Perfect for work.
I get a lot of stupid questions so I use this to answer them. Also I was showing MY boss the book and how it can be funny and the page opened to something along the lines of "its better to prioritize work" which made us both laugh.

Do I love it? "Definitely"
I actually liked this more than I expected! While it is reminiscent of the folly of youth (Magic 8 ball, MASH, origami fortune teller, etc), you can easily turn this into an adult version. I've included a video and a picture to show how thick the book is. Yes, the answers are repetitive, so you have a better opportunity to get the answer your psyche is guiding you towards. To make this a personal experience, I would immediately cleanse the book and then flip through it several times. Familiarize yourself with the book and get used to it. This familiarity will go both ways. I don't usually allow anyone to use my items, as I feel they are very personal. If someone does use it, I would suggest starting over with cleansing it and then paging through it again. Treat it as you would any other spiritual object.

That metaphysical thing
I am all about this book and I feel it has been very accurate and useful in challenging my mind. If i ask a question, and I dont take it serious, and dont put any effort into putting my energy into this book before I decide I am ready for my answer, I notice any answer I get is bullshit. TIP: From a metaphysical/spiritual stand point, your dominant hand is the hand you are supposed to use to send energy into objects/people, and your opposite hand is used to receive energy from things/people. For example: I am left handed, so when I want to ask a question to this book, I place my left hand on the top because I want to send my energy/question into the pages. I will use my right hand at the same time to follow the instructions on the back of this book to stroke the pages up from back to front. By doing this, I am sending my energy through the book with my dominant hand (my left) and getting ready to receive the answers with my non dominant hand (my right) place the book in your lap so you can use both hands successfully. Hope this helps.
