High Quality DIY Kit

The instructions presume an expert if proper use. What is NOT mentioned: There is a spool of teflon tape to enable tightened hoses. Wrap tape around the ports on the manifold before attaching hoses. Wrap tape around the Low/High port adaptors prior to screwing into the hoses. If NOT using the yellow hose, you MUST attach it to the back of the manifold tightly or else gas escapes through that yellow hose (obviously since it is the vacuum connection). Opening both of the manifold gauge handles at the same time becomes a simple pass-through from Hi to Low ports ... and thus an error in usage (and rather unsmart). Check YouTube videos for how professionals use this device. Otherwise, the unit is high quality for this price break. UPDATE 7/6/2023: Do NOT open either side valves on the manifold unless evacuating with yellow hose to a vacuum gas-recovery pump or using the yellow hose for charging. NEVER EVER open both gauges at the same time. Always close both only finger-tight (to not ruin the brass seats of the valve. If only trying to diagnose A/C, keep both valves on the manifold CLOSED.

Good tool was able to repair my Mercedes Benz AC with this gauge set. As well as install my mini split ac.

NO gaskets in yellow tube
Product arrived well packaged. HOWEVER, the yellow line had no gaskets on either end and when I went to add coolant, it was leaking coolant at both ends! NOT HAPPY EDIT: Seller responded to my issue and sent a new set to me quickly, took about 5 days to arrive. New set had the gaskets and it has worked great! Kudos to the seller for taking care of a product issue that made the original set worthless.

Great value.. Easy to use. Gauges are accurate.

Garbage
The entire unit is cheap junk. You get what you paid for. Can tap does not tap R134a cans with any regularity. After a couple uses, it won't tap any. The tap valve leaks and won't close completely when in the closed position. The low pressure side valve does not seat and tap properly. It can't open up the schrader valves with any regularity. All of the connectors to the valves and body loosen up and leak unless they are constantly monitored and tightened. I cannot believe how junky this set is. How have so many people used this POS effectively that they rate it with multiple stars? If QC is this low, it's not worth the lottery of getting a bad unit.
