Monteverde USA Ink, 30 ml Documental Permanent Black (G309DB)

Superior quality, works well in all my fountain pens, smooth flowing and now clogging, absolutely beautiful colors and a joy to write with. Great price for 90ml bottles.

This brand ink has never let me down and quickly became my favorite after buying "California Teal". This bottle of ink is not only lubricated to keep my pen working each and every time, but is also permanent, making it suitable for watercolor illustration, writing, and so much more. It works on cheap paper as well as fountain pen papers.

Montevideo Ink is high quality and always satisfactory in the pen. The water-resistance is good; the color is fairly light.

This is a great flowing ink for my Parker Sonnet fine gold nib pen. I have not tried it in other pens yet but my Parker really likes it. It is also not terrible to clean out of my Parker like other more permanent inks can be, a little alcohol on a Qtip works well. This ink is resistant to water as people better at testing on YouTube have shown but it is not truly permanent. I do not need a permanent ink and bought it because I like the blue color which is lighter than a royal once it dries this it works well for my needs. The fact that it is a good value means I will be buying this again. This ink and waterman mystery blue are my current favorites.

What I like best about this ink is that you can use watercolors with it -- sketch an outline and then paint over it without it bleeding (about 90% stability, non-bleed). It looks dark and rich too. Yet if I get it on my fingers, I can wash it off with soap and water and it come off easily. Win-Win.

Arrived promptly and in perfect condition, no leaks. I haven't tried it out yet (fountain pens are all full at the moment) but I read the reviews prior to purchase and am confident in how it will perform. Nice amount of ink for the price, should last a long time. I will be using it for journaling and for pen work with watercolor, which is why I wanted an ink that stays on the paper. I give it 5 stars for the safe delivery alone.

Very disappointed! First of all, it's gray, like a pencil line. It's not a deep rich black. Second, the description says permanent which i took to be waterproof so that I could watercolor with it. It smears and runs. On the plus side, it flows nicely.

Good Performing permanent ink. Highly water resistant when dry. Negative is that it goes from black to a matte grey when dry; side benefit is that you know when the ink is totally dry. Should be labeled as documental graphite. Basically when dry it looks very similar to a darker pencil like a 2b-4b depending on the nib size of your fountain pen. Very permanent, solid dark grey ink.
