Beautiful tables for my use. Easier to clean that wooden top ones.

Initially, COMPLETE DISMAY :( - First set received in damaged condition, table tops scuffed and marred - packaging falling apart, items in box not secured, rattling around, falling out of the damaged box before I even got it in the house. (Appeared to have already been opened and unpacked and then repackaged carelessly for a second attempt at sale). - Amazon quickly responded to my email request for a refund or exchange (I opted for the exchange ONLY because the over 30 lbs. package would be picked up by UPS and a new set sent to me at no expense or need to drop off or pick up) - From my email request for a refund/exchange to new set arriving - 5 days! I was quite impressed by the prompt service and turn around time; thus, keeping me a little open-minded about the replacement set I was about to open.Second set received - VERY PLEASED!! It is just as described; looks as pictured (although more eye-catching in real life), quality of set is adequate for gentle, adult use - definitely NOT for kids. the table tops are faux marble, don't forget, so the surface should be used and cared for appropriately. Wood grain is beautiful, all 4 TV tray legs are balanced properly, each opens and folds up simply & easily - stand is practical and functional, nice enough to leave out in the open; looks great in my living room, accenting my other furniture pieces.I purchased these when they were temporarily reduced in price - cost me less for this beautiful set than buying the ole, standard butcher block - looking ones that don't even come with a stand!!! Yes, very happy with this purchase even though the first set had to be returned.

The overall appearance of these tray tables is appealing. They are sturdy, easy to get off and on their storage rack, and the trays themselves are easy to set up and take down. Some notes: 1) Despite individual pieces being well wrapped, minor damage seems to have occurred in shipment. One tray table has several inch-long scratches marring the table top. One leg is similarly scratched through the finish on the wood. 2) The round inspection stickers applied to each piece of the storage rack (designed to be user-assembled) left messy, sticky residue on the wood. I cleaned it up by rubbing with Old English oil. 3) The hex-tipped allen wrench supplied in the hardware package is not up to its intended task. Throw it away and use a real tool, preferably ratcheting, which makes assembly much easier. 4) The storage rack has a handy carrying handle but once all 4 tables are loaded onto it, the unit is quite heavy. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. 5) The storage rack wobbled, and no, not because I failed at assembly or our floor is crooked. It is just not manufactured to a perfectionist's quality standards. My remedy was applying adhesive felt pads to the bottom corners which I would have done anyway to protect our hardwood floor. 6) The finishing plugs do not fit snugly into their countersink holes over the screw heads which is annoying. They need tapped into place carefully with a hammer wrapped in something soft to protect the finish on the plug. I feel like most of these issues could be improved upon at the point of manufacture. I recommend making sure you can deal with any or all of them before purchasing, because repacking everything into the shipping carton for a return seemed completely unrealistic for us. Would I make this purchase again? Mmmmm... probably. We are overall satisfied but some improvements addressing the problems we encountered would make it even better.

i purchased these from a high end furniture store a few months ago... they are so useful I ended up using two for as side tables in spare bedroom so I needed to order more so I had a full set for TV Movie night. on a lark, I looked up Marble tray table and lo and behold I found these. WELL...let me tell you! These are EXACTLY the same item i paid twice as much for from the high end furniture store! I am thrilled! These are STURDY, BEAUTIFUL and very classy tray tables! BUY THESE if you need for dinner in the living room on Movie night or any other room as auxiliary extra tables. At this price, it's worth having for the "just in case you need an extra table" moment!

Love them….they match my countertop! Clean with a damp cloth after using! Beautiful in the wooden display rack…highly recommend!

I was happy about the sturdiness of this unit. It looks very nice and elegant. The easy glide system for pulling the legs in and put is easy and smooth. The stand was the only thing I had to assemble and it was simple. The stand is super sturdy as are the tables. Packaging was very secure and padded for protection. The table alone is lightweightish but you can feel the sturdiness in the weight. As a whole unit you can feel the weight. To me, that just says sturdy. My 9 year old special needs son even decided he wanted to lay the table on the ground and proceed to jump right in the middle of it and it was able to withstand his weight and pressure (although, I wouldn't advise you do this lol) now, just as all furniture with the like wood paint coating it does scratch easy. The pegs that fill in the screw holes on the stand will pop out if you dont secure them with a little help of a hammer. Not an issue and easy fix but directions didnt say this so just an idea if you purchase. Overall, I love the sturdiness and look of this set. Happy with my purchase

Easy to put together and beautiful. Unfortunately one of the tables arrived with a decent sized scratch on the faux marble of course. I don't understand how because it was well packed and the box was fine. We'll never lol. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. It would've been 5 had everything been ok. Other people have this problem so this item is buy at your own risk I suppose. I'm not going through the hassle of returning because it's a large item and I got it on sale. If I paid the original price of 150.00 heads would roll!
