A Little SPOT of Kindness!

Best book ever for kids to help teach as well as promote kindness! I bought dot stickers and any time my kids are kids give them one to add to their paper they’re coloring or just stick it to their hand! I also use the dot stickers on their reward charts and emphasize what they did kind to ear that as well so it’s a double whammy! Also every aspect of this book is positive! Some books throw in negative examples but I try to keep it positive so this book is great! So good!

Great little book

A children's book that shows you ways to be kind ty everyone. I picked this book to fill a prompt in the 52 Book Club Challenge 2025.

This book would be a wonderful way to help make a classroom of young children into life long allies to help others. The illustrations are clever and would engage the children. Many examples of how children can be helpful are provided and a spot card that could be copied and given to the children. You might want children to draw a small picture of how they were helpful to some one at school and at home each day and then share with others. Dots are often available at the Dollar Tree. After reading the book to the children, you could leave the book in a safe place where two children at a time could discuss it. Hopefully all the class will be involved in being kind to others now and for their lives.

We’ve become quick fans of the little spot series. Reading the books has opened doors to conversations about emotions we wouldn’t have otherwise had. The sticker on the hand concept has really helped my son (and I) remember to be more patient and kind. Definitely recommend.

I love this series, this is a great way to get some lessons in for my second graders. They have great pictures and the lesson is wonderful.

These books are wonderful for helping teach little ones about their emotions. A Little Spot of Kindness is also part of AR curriculum and students are able to use these for AR testing unlike some others from this series. We enjoy the books as they explain the emotion, how to recognize them, and how to express them properly.

An enjoyable little kindness book. It encourages kids to think about each other and the impact they have. I really enjoyed it.

Used in kindergarten. The students love this series. They can relate to the feelings and the strategies are age appropriate to use.
