Easy to bend during assembly, I added a drop of solder to reinforce connection. Probably won't last long, poor design, cheap connectors. Will not buy again.

If you have the right tools and know what you're doing these are great! I have had them for months just knowing I'd eventually use them and tonight used them to fully make a custom harness for quick disconnect of the water pump to supply water from a reservoir to a pressure washer. Came out perfect and the weather seals are definitely a plus. I'm fairly certain that the review I just read from the person saying "have a fire extinguisher ready" was from an under experienced person. If you know how to properly use the open barrel crimp tool that these pins are designed for then you can get a lot of bang for your buck on this one.

I bought these primarily to use while rewiring a motorcycle cargo trailer. I had completely disassembled the trailer to refinish it and wanted a clean wire harness. These definitely fit the bill. My only tip is to use the right crimp tool. There is a vast variety of stripper/crimper tools available as well as range of quality of the tools. Make sure you have a GOOD quality tool that is designed specifically for these connectors and not a generic crimper. Make sure after crimping to pull each of the pins before inserting into the housing. Also there is only one direction to insert them to have it lock in place. If you are a quarter turn off or flipped over, you can push it in but they will come apart on you.Finally it would be nice if they included some extra male and female pins for correcting mistakes or for practice. If planning to use the entire kit, I recommend ordering more than one kit or finding extra pins.

Used to properly wire some accessories on an ATV. They have done a good job so far of keeping the connections dry, but aren't the highest quality pieces. Be careful assembling the pins, it's very easy to damage them when inserting in the shell. I have used higher quality parts in the past, but these are good enough for non-critical applications.

These are decent connectors if you are working on a small project with small requirements. As others have said, the pins are veery small and hard to work with, I can hardly hold a pin and still have room to crimp it without either getting pinched or dropping it. Personally I think that every ad from people selling connectors and/or pin packs should be required to show the size of wire supported by the pins/connectors otherwise you end up with stuff you didn't expect...

But they break real easy, junk plastic. Still going to use them but have to be really careful disconnecting them

I bought these to have some quick disconnects for my truck shell and they work excellent once you have the proper crimp tool and are careful to align everything correctly. They pieces are a little tiny, but work excellent for my needs.

After experimenting with these a few times I got it figured out. It would have been nice if they included instructions that tell you which terminal ends go into which side of the connectors. Example: the terminals with the square ends go in the male side of the connector, the spade terminal go in the female side and make sure they face this way so they lock in....
