Fixed My Rough Idle Right Away – Plug and Play
I replaced the MAF sensor on my vehicle after dealing with a rough idle and hesitation that cleaning the old sensor just wasn’t fixing anymore. I went with the Delphi AF10043 since Delphi is an OEM supplier, and I’m glad I did. Install was straightforward. Unplug the connector, swap the sensor, and that was it. No relearn procedure needed in my case and the check engine light cleared immediately after a short drive. The difference was noticeable right away. Idle smoothed out, throttle response felt normal again, and the hesitation on acceleration is gone. Fuel mileage even seems a little better, though it’s still early to say for sure. Build quality looks solid and matches the original sensor that came out. Fit was exact and the connector snapped in tight with no play. It didn’t feel like a cheap aftermarket part, which was important to me since MAF sensors can be hit or miss. I’ve had it installed for a few weeks now with no issues, no warning lights, and no weird drivability problems. If your symptoms point to a failing MAF, this is a solid replacement and cheaper than dealer pricing. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

This was the fix for many engine problems
I was having so many problems with engine misfire and engine lights. Truck was stalling out and barely running. This part solved many issues. I decided to buy the Delco brand even though it was much more expensive. Im glad I got this part changed. This made a great difference in the performance of my engine.

Do Not Purchase this MAF Garbage
100 % G A R B A G E !! My truck was showing to lean codes for both banks. So I ordered this MAF, waited for a warm day to change it. Just like other reviews, the bag wasn't sealed, it didn't look used though. It was even worse then the one I changed out, truck wouldn't stay running and it had voltage codes as well. Of course the return window closed because I waited for the weather. $80 bucks into the trash, don't waste your time or money, if you need a MAF go to a local parts store.

Great Product and Value.
Item arrived very quickly and in proper packaging. Despite it not being listed as fitting my 2004 Avalanche Z71, the part number did cover the replacement of the part number on my truck. I was getting P0101 MAF sensor circuit failure, P0171 lean condition on bank one, and P0172 lean condition bank two. I first ended up changing out the intake manifold gasket to eliminate that possibility since it is a known issue with these trucks, and cause the codes I was getting. If your intake gasket has a vacuum leak, your vehicle is getting more air than it thinks it is, causing the ECU to adjust fuel trim levels and resulting in the lean codes. It also will shoot the P0101 MAF code because the computer is reading more air coming in than what the maf is sensing so it triggers the code P0101 meaning that the readings from the maf were out of range for a period of time, usually four seconds, though there are other time ranges as well. Changing the intake gasket only got rid of my P0172 lean bank two code. So I ordered this AF10043 after seeing that the part #'s actually crossed. It took all of five minutes to change out. All you need to change these are an 8mm driver or socket, loosen the large hose clamps that attach the intake tube to the throttle body connection, the intake tube to maf connection, and the maf to air box connection. Unplug the maf sensor wire by simply pressing the clip and pulling away from the maf. If you have the double stage clip, there is a small shielding clip that slides over the tab of the maf so it wont accidentally get disconnected. To get the protecting clip off take a small flat head or pick ( I used a transmission line pick tool), get under each side of the tab and it pulls straight up, the clip will actually slide completely off exposing the tab to unhook the maf sensor. All of my CEL codes are now gone thanks to this product. I have verified my maf readings with my Bluetooth obd-II dongle in real time, and all are in proper ranges. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a new maf and I would buy again if I needed to. Thanks,

Great customer service
Update after reaching out a few times someone finally sent a replacement. 4 stars because it went bad within a year but thankfully delphi sent a replacement Purchased June 2024 and has already failed and of course out of warranty. Thought delphi was quality bit seems they don't even wanna warranty the junk anymore

Working good so far...I was overdue by...like....maybe 7 years -- 2003 Tahoe 5.3L LT with 165K
I'm a procrastinator. My check engine light has been going on and off for like 7 years and 80k miles driven in that time. Finally bought this and - as a lady (cough!) - I was able to do this nearly all myself. So easy to change it was embarrassing. Hubby helped with the muscle for the old original MAF that was hermetically sealed with dirt and grime, but otherwise a simple 5-10 minute fix. A simple youtube search before digging in. It fits my 2003 Tahoe 5.3L LT with 165K perfectly. Runs so much better now, mileage has greatly improved (from 15.3 avg per gal all the way up to 16.5 so far - woah...). The check engine light hasn't come on once since the change. UPDATE It lasted 2 months...aaaand the check engine light is back on again - exact same codes as before I put this one in. Less than 1k miles and it goes out. Not Happy. Now I'm forced to buy another one. Should lower my 5 star to 1 but I won't. bah...

Fixed sluggish Sierra with no fault codes
2007 Sierra 1500 Classic. Replacing the MAF fixed a 4 month old issue that didn't have any fault codes, but was slowly driving me insane. Truck was running poor. But, it was difficult to tell unless you were the daily driver of it, which I am. Felt under powered and sluggish, and fuel milage was getting a lot worse. Truck idled fine. Fuel trims oddly looked fine, which I wouldn't have expected from a bad MAF, but I have limited mechanical knowledge. Could smell gas sometimes. Off the line, getting up to speed, it just didn't have the get-up-and-go that it used to. It would reach speeds eventually, or in the same timeframe as previously but having to give it more gas. No fault codes. Had thermal cameras underneath to check the cats. Checked fuel pressure at the rail (filter is in the tank on this year, for some idiotic reason). Cleaned throttle body. Changed plugs and wires with OEM wires and Iridium plugs. Took the transmission pan down to inspect what we could, but also to change the filter and fluid. Without a code, was just wasting money on possibilities and shotgunning parts and tests at it. Finally, the new MAF fixed it. First shake down run after install the gas mileage was wonky, but better than it had been in months. By a lot. By the end of a 30 minute drive, whatever relearning (if any) had to be done, seemed to be done, as fuel mileage locked right into where it should be. Just relieved. As far as DIY jobs go, this is one anybody, regardless of their mechanical skills, can easily do quickly in their driveway.

A quality part - fixed my FT issues
The old 2000 gmc LM7 was throwing lean codes and having trouble getting stabilized. Process of checks and elimination came down to the aged MAF being most likely culprit. The old one seemed to be under reporting which caused LTFT to sustain at high +ve. Did the research for a reliable quality replacement brand. Came to this one. After tweaking a few other things and installing this new MAF, the truck is super smooth and FTs are near perfect hovering around zero.
