Quick Reference for Otolaryngology: Guide for APRNs, PAs, and Other Healthcare Practitioners: 9780826196064: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Good reference - As a new APP in general otolaryngology, I love having this as a quick reference that is easy to understand and well organized. It's short and to the point, reviews common diagnoses and initial management plan/work up Review: A MUST HAVE - I'm a new grad in ENT and I am in love with this book. I had it for about a month and still working through the chapters/taking notes. It's easy to read, understand, and remember. I love the suggestions, what to look for, notes, procedure protocols, etc. The only two things that I wish it had were color images and treatment specific dosing. The book is fairly up to date, as it was published in I think 2014. We have a handful of updated guidelines since then, so I really hope a second edition is in the near future. I'll instantly buy it.

Good for providers, not clinic triage
Very thorough, I was hoping more for conditions I may encounter in a clinic as a RN. More appropriate for higher level providers

Pictures are not very good
I love the info and it will be a good resource but the pictures are all black and white. Next to impossible to differentiate fine points they r discussing.
