Great read!
Robert H. Welch's book "Church Administration, Creating Efficiency for Effective Ministry" is an enlightening and educational piece of work that any church or religious nonprofit would benefit reading from. The content of the book provides clear, concise, and practical tools that churches or religious organizations can use for their administration, or refer to as a guide or inspiration. Resources like templates, applicants, and/or other supplemental documentation can be found through Welch's writings, and ultimately provide the necessary aid and support pastors may need. Furthermore, the education and research that's provided is effective for any administrators looking to further manage and control their ministry practice. Overall, the book's quality is both useful, practical, and resourceful. Robert H. Welch is able to give clear, communicative insight on a topic that's incredibly hard to judge, let alone a topic that's talked about! I believe any and all pastors or leaders that are serious about administration and the gift that this is to the church (or religious organization) should seriously consider reading this. :)

Helpful
This book is helpful information for any pastor or church elder. This information is necessary and may not be taught in seminary or Bible college, but one would use this information every day.

A Life Preserver In Book Form
I was recently asked to develop a new class on church administration for a growing Christian college. Since this is my first time to teach the subject, I contacted my previous church administration professor from my alma mater. This is the book he recommended. Since it is a very thorough book, some will find it overly detailed. Nonetheless, this book answers many questions in terms of procedures that many related books won't even touch. It covers literally every aspect of Church administration and leaves nothing to the imagination. Even though it is written from a Southern Baptist perspective, it is easily adaptable to any denomination. Its only weaknesses is that for someone new to the area of administration, this may seem overwhelming as a first text. Nonetheless, I will be taking a calculated risk and will use it with my summer students a month from now. In short, this is a manual that has been regularly updated and needs to be on every minister's bookshelf.

Long, informative, boring.
Title says it all. Very very useful for learning basics. Authors tone is extremely practical and robotic. Definitely recommend for the sake of info. Not so much for personal development.

Deserves to be read and consult for any Pastor or Faith Based Organization Leader
This is one of the most interesting administration book I’ve read. Take advantage of all the content, because it can be helpful for anyone that want to organize the Church or churches under your responsibility. The first chapters are deeply interesting for any Christian Leaders and the chapters from the 7 are useful as reference for any church activities, programs or administration issues.Highly Recommended
