Work Fine
My doctor doesn't require me to test my blood sugar. Before a GLP-1 prescription, my blood tests were borderline diabetic. So I do perform a blood sugar test after a big meal, or when I'm feeling low blood sugar, to monitor things The single-use Ascensia MICROLET lancets perform their task with minimal pain. They are easy to load, seem to be of reasonable quality, and are a decent value for the price. I can load a test strip, load a lancet, prick my finger, and have the test results in seconds. It is very simple and easy.

Great lancets
I've used Ascensia MICROLET Lancet for years. They're reliable, consistant, and at 28g, they're relatively painless. They fit every lancet device I've used, and I know it's not important, but the cheerful variety of brightly colored plastic ends and tips just make me feel good. There are cheaper options out there, but these are reasonably priced, and have never let me down. Thumbs up!

Glucose test strips
Medicare does not cover these test strips, so I had to order them from Amazon. It's the same product when I first got the glucose machine. It works well and the price is great.

painless finger pokes
Nice and sharp and almost painless but they are just a little bit too big for my lancet device so they're difficult to get in and out of it
