My daughter and I stayed in a motel in a sketchy part of town for a concert she wanted to attend and I have to honestly say that I was felt secure and safe with this in place. I was able to easily adjust it to the right height and tap it in place which meant it did not slide at all. I did struggle placing the end pieces on the posts especially the one for the floor, they did not slide together very far but once placed they stayed. The ability to adjust the length is vast and will fit any door we put it against. My daughter is going to use it at her house when she is home alone during the times she isn't traveling. The peace of mind this gives is worth every penny and I won't be without one now.

I bought this 2-in-1 door security bar set for my daughter as she headed off to college. After some recent tragic events here in Idaho, she was understandably nervous about living on her own for the first time. Now, one bar goes on her front door every night and the other on her bedroom door — and she sleeps much better knowing she’s secure (the baseball bat by the bed helps too!). Easy to set up, sturdy, and gives both of us peace of mind. Hopefully it never has to prove how effective it really is, but I’m grateful for the sense of safety it provides.

We feel more secure but somehow it may destroy your door knob when you force it.

Sturdy security bar, just the right height to fit under the doorknob. Definitely helps us to feel more secure in our home. It’s super easy to use and lightweight.

I moved to a new apt, don't know neighbors yet, use this at night when I go to sleep, it works excellent, door won't open. easy to assemble and to use.

Works great once you get it at the right length. I even tried opening an unlocked door with it on and the door opened to just a crack but I could not get it open further than that. It didn’t slip at all.

A+ protection! My daughter came home and managed to leave the door unlocked but remembered to use the security bar. The security bar saved our lives as masked would be Intruders attempted to break in. Five stars in my book!
