This is an excellent product. I have been using it for a year or so now, and still feel it is superior to standard shaving creams. My razor glides so much easier. When I am lazy and don't shave for a few days I used to get a lot of irritation the next time I shave. With American Crew Precision Shave Gel. there is no irritation, and it rinses off quick and easy when done.

Provide a good lubrication for your shave

Works and smells great! Doesn't clog up my drain after I'm done shaving like other products.

This worked great, but I had a slight skin reaction to it. (I switched to the Gillette Fusion version of this type of gel.) It is a bit weird that this doesn't lather, but it really does make it easy to get a close shave. This seems to make a nice slick surface between the razor and the skin to glide along. Much better than regular gels that foam up. I used to just shave until things were pretty close, but never would spend the time to get to a really smooth shave. This allows me to get a really close shave without having to spend extra time. It used to take going back against the grain to get as close a shave as this does normally. But I did switch since my skin seemed to have a slight reaction to this version. Nothing big, but it seemed a bit red after shaving and I could feel a slight burn. The Gillette version has been better to my skin, though gives a less close shave.

This shaving gel is absolutely amazing.First off, it's cool that the gel does not show on your skin, so as you shave there is no foaming.Secondly, the gel is the best I have tried for sensitive skin and I am comparing against top creams you can find for this cause.Third, you don't need a lot of gel per shave.Was initially hesitant in trying it (first time using a gel etc.) but this product is just brilliant!

This shave gel is extremely good for sensitive skin, the lubricity is excellent and it’s not sticky at all. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. This is the only shave gel I will use

I have been using american crew for a couple years now to shave my face and head and I have to say that I love it. This is the gel which is thick and spreads more easily than the regular but I seem to go through the gel faster. I will continue to use this brand for my shaving needs.
