**Q: Can i replace a yuasa l36 -100 12v 100ah 700a with this battery and can you explain what the efb stands for**
A: Yes I think you can replace the battery you mentioned. EFB stands for Enhanced Flooded Battery which simply put means it is an enhanced version of the standard flooded battery, which is what your L36 is. The enhancements allow for better cyclic durability and other things which make it a better option as a leisure battery. Always refer to the manufacturer's literature however.

**Q: OK for starter and domestic use?**
A: The Yuasa L36-EFB is a dual purpose leisure battery so is suitable for starting and using for deep cycle applications. It is perfect for a caravan with a motor mover.

**Q: What battery charger would you recommend for this battery?**
A: We recommend the battery is charged using a charger that is rated at 10% capacity of the battery. The L36-EFB is rated at 100Ah so a 10 amp charger.

Great for my VW California Ocean 2029, fitting next to the bench seat in the boot and plugging in to the integral leisure battery charging system eg using the 12V 20A cigarette lighter socket. This is designed to only be discharged down to 50% and the spec indicates this should be very durable. If weight is an issue, and you do not have a built in charging system, it's also worth considering the alternative LiFePO4 Lithium Battery technology as these allow a full discharge cycle ie you can use more of the stored power (Ah rating).
