I carry most of my weight from my hips down, so I ordered a 4X. Most pants that fit my hips don't fit in the waist, so I'm really happy for the drawstring. To me they fit true to size, if not a bit generous. If your proportional, maybe 2X would work. **Q: Spandex free?** A: Yes they are spandex free but are very comfortable .they are a soft knit **Q: I see tall/33" inseam in the description, but tall is not in the drop down size list. are talls available or not? thanks!** A: They do not give a choice of lengths. Mine were way to long. **Q: The pants are way too long, I washed and dried them according to label directions and they are still way too long. When I went to wear them someone noticed a big tear or rip in the seam on the side of the pants leg. This is now huge other than that I love the fabric and how it fits.
