Wonderful kit for the cost
Fantastic kit for the price. This was my first ever counted cross stitch project and it turned out better than I thought it would. The instructions are very simple to follow and as clearly shown above in the photos, there is WAY more floss provided than needed to finish the project.I read in some reviews that people were struggling with the instructions because they are on two pages. All you have to do is line them up and tape them together so I'm really not sure what the issue was for them.Additionally, I took liberty on the colour of the back stitch in the feathers. The instructions called for dark navy on the light turquoise sections and I personally thought it was too harsh of a delineation so I chose a dark turquoise instead and am much happier with the results.Enjoy you time on this, it's a fun project with lovely results!

A couple of issues
This is a gorgeous stitch, and I absolutely love it. I would give it five stars, except for two things: (1) it has two pages to the pattern and nothing overlaps, so it is difficult to line up your stitching. (2) One of the colors has two symbols related to it. That is a bit confusing when you are stitching the pattern. Other than that, this is a beautiful pattern and I do recommend it, but you need to be aware of those particular issues.

Fun project, not for first timers
I loved making this project! I would recommend gridding it. It is a bit difficult for a beginner but it was a really fun project. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it!

Top quality counted cross stitch kits
I love the Dimensions Gold kits - they all have been changed in the past few years to include the fibers already PRE-SORTED and attached to cardboard thread palettes that are clearly labeled by color and how many strands for each color. This is a huge improvement on a product that was already first class to begin with! I can't think of a single negative to say about these kits except that perhaps the next upgrade down the line would be to offer the choice of kits using higher count linen rather than having them all include Aida fabric.

Lovely design
Bought as a gift for someone who dislikes pink—not an easy ask for a cross stitch. The design is lovely in real life and the colors well chosen.
